-BRITTNEY-
I got my dad to drop us off at the dirt path. "Thank you, daddy!" I said as Dallas and I got out of the car. I gave him a wave and he backed up and tried to get back onto the road, but the traffic was horrible, so he turned around and tried to find another way out.
As soon as me and Dall were alone, I turned to her and squealed, "I'm so excited. I'm definitely ready to drink. How about you?"
We started walking towards the house.
"I'm excited too...but I'll probably just hang out in the backyard..." Dall nodded.
My mouth hung open in shock. I nudged her, "WHY? You're supposed to be in there," I gestured to the mansion, "-and having a blast! You need to learn how to party, girl."
Dallas rolled her eyes, "Okay...how about you teach me your party girl ways?"
"Oh fuck yeah," I lifted my hand up for a high five, "That's more like it!"
Dall gave me that high-five. We giggled excitedly and moved closer and closer to the mansion.
When we reached the path to the door, it was already crowded by people standing around, chatting and holding a red Solo cup in their hands. I nodded to everyone I knew. Since I've seen most of them at other previous parties, I knew who to nod to.
Dall and I passed by these two guys, and the shorter one with the glasses gave me a sick perverted smile and a nod...What...the....fuck? His glasses were way too big for his fucking face that was spotted with pimples...But he did have a decent looking nose.
I gave him a disgusted look as we went through the door. From the corner of my eye, I saw the nerd frown. Tough luck, buddy. I'm not easy.
-BENTLEY-
She looked at me...She looked at me like I was a freak.
Jax and I had gotten off the bus just as the crowd started to swarm into the house. There was no football captain host to tell us where anything was, there was just....music, flashing lights, and a LOT of alcoholic beverages on the tables, in coolers, and every fridge was stocked with alcoholic drinks. How the fuck did this guy manage all this!?
I sighed as the hot blonde walked away with her friend. Jax patted my shoulder. He had a red cup filled with wine...I obviously went against it, but he did it anyways. "It's okay, Ben...You'll go over there, get her drunk and then take her by surprise."
I sighed yet again and brushed Jax's hand away, "Whatever...You can go off on your own, dude...I'm going to go stalk her."
Jax raised a brow, "Stalk HER? Why her?"
I cleared my throat, "Why? What's wrong with her? She's beautiful...her hair is golden blonde with a gentle curl! And her eyes are the very light blue of the brightest and cloudless summer sky! Her skin looked so soft and smooth! And-"
Before I could go any further, Jax slapped his hand to cover my mouth, "Slow down there, Romeo...You sound insane. Besides, love at first sight is a load of shi-" Jax stopped mid-sentence.
I pulled his hand off and looked up at him, "What?" He didn't respond. He was staring out at the dirt path. I waved my hand in front of his face, "JAXSON!? HELLO?"
He just kept staring. It was way too hard to find out what exactly he had his eyes on...So I sighed again and walked away from him. I cracked my neck and my knuckles, preparing myself to flirt.
Bentley was gonna GET SOME!
-JAXSON-
What was I just saying? Love at first sight was a load of...shit? Then please pinch me and tell me that this flame haired angel isn't meant for me. And then I felt it: the feeling deep down in the darkest pits of my stomach that kept me anxious for this very party...Was this it? Who was she? She was walking down the path all by herself. She had a book pressed to her chest. She had the palest white skin I've ever seen...her hair was a bright orange, but I could almost tell it was all natural. And her eyes...bright hazel.
