"Ms. Nidia they're gone. They're really gone. I just" She stopped and sighed. "I just don't know what I'm going to do."

"Its okay honey, I can't believe it either. But they are in a better place now." Ms. Nidia said.

"I hope so."

"I know so. And you can stay at my house as long as you like darling. I have plenty room." Ms. Nidia said dozing off.

**Chapter One**

I watched as they lowered my parents' body into the ground. This was it, my final "goodbye". Ms. Nidia and I are going back to her home in Atlanta. I insisted we go back tonight rather than tomorrow. This place is full of terrible memories, the house, the school, the cemetery my parents were being buried in. Its just all too overwhelming and I'm ready to go. My bags have already been shipped to Los Angeles. Just thinking about this change hurts. I lowered my head and let the tears flow.

"Lets go honey." Ms. Nidia said while grabbing my arms and hugging me. "We better get to the airport." My mother and Nidia were best friends for the longest. I heard Ms. Nidia crying in my parents room a few days ago. My mom and Nidia were like family to each other, it tore Nidi up.

"Yeah, we should." I muttered wiping my face. I kneeled down on my moms grave and kissed her tombstone. "I love you mommy, I'm so sorry this happened to you. I'll miss you say hi to god for me." A few more tears fell. I moved over to my daddy's grave and the tears poured out. "Daddy. Daddy I love you so much. I'm so sorry, you asked me if I wanted to tag along ,I should have came with you. We would be together. I'm sorry, I love you. Hope moms not jealous. You know I always was a daddy's girl." I hugged a kissed his tomb and sighed. I got up and followed Nidia out of the cemetery. We got into the cab and made our way to the airport. Once we got through security and check out we were ready for the plane to board. I sat in my seat next to the window and turned over, the plane began flying and I found my self dosing off. That is until the lights went out. I sat up and and looked at Ms. Nidia, she was sound asleep. I began looking around admiring everything the plane had to offer. Some people were sleep, some people were tapping at their phones, some were web surfing on their laptops and some just sat there with headphones in and blank faced expressions but what caught my attention was the little girl staring directly into my face. I waved to her and grinned a little but she just stared. I sat back and looked back out of the window. I sighed.

"Are you my mommy?" A small little voice asked. I turned around and noticed it was the little girl. I looked to my side and shook my head.

"Uhh, no." I said. She lowered her head.

"Are you sure? My granny said my mommy left and she was flying." The little girl asked moving a little bit closer.

I didn't understand what her granny could have meant by saying that. "I'm sorry sweety but no, I'm not your mommy." I watched as a few tears slid down her cheeks. I let her sit between Ms. Nidia and I. "Don't cry little one." I gave her a hug. "Where did your granny say she went?"

"My granny said she was leaving for a while, and that she was flying with god. She said we would see her soon but when? I miss my mom." She said crying. This time a few tears escaped my eyes as well. Her mother was dead just like mine.

"My mom left me too, and she's flying with god as well. Maybe my mommy and your mommy are friends now." I choked out with tears sliding down my cheeks.

"Londyn! Where are you baby?" An older woman yelled jumping up from her seat. I looked back at the girl.

"Are you Londyn?" I asked calming down.

She nodded, I stuck out my hand and shook hers. "I'm Kyori. And I suppose that's your granny looking for you?" She nodded. "She's over here ma'am." The women frantically rushed over to my seat.
