Chapter 6 - You Aren't Even Mine

Karan drove back home in silence after dropping back Tejasswi at her home.

He slide down the window to enjoy the fresh air on his face.

He increased the volume of the stereo, "Ajeeb dastan hai ye" song was playing and he unknowingly started humming along with a smile.

He got lost in the moment where he was about to kiss Tejasswi. He was surprised to see her responding.

Suddenly his overthinker mind prompted him what if she didn't like it. She was silent all through the ride.

But for once he moved back his overthinking back into his mind. He was enjoying the moment. He couldn't help himself.

There is something which is pulling him towards her like the two opposite poles of a magnet.

Karan reached his home and he couldn't focus on anything else other than Tejasswi.

He slept while thinking about her.

They both were supposed to meet for coffee in the morning.

Karan and Tejasswi met for coffee next day. He couldn't help but notice that she was unusually quiet with him today.

"Are you feeling fine Tejasswi?"

"What! Yeah! I am just worried about some work commitments. Also I am hungry. "

He took out a chocolate bar from his pocket and gave it to her. She could never say no to chocolate.

What she didn't realise that Karan doesn't even like chocolate. He brought that chocolate bar for her.

Karan really thought that she was worried because of work and that's why he didn't try to irritate her by asking her again and again.

She took her coffee and left for her shoot after being clicked by paparazzi.

Karan was irritated with Tejasswi she has been ignoring his calls and texts since last two days. He couldn't tell what's wrong with her.

He was anxious whether she was offended because of their moment on the beach.

May be she doesn't like him the way he does.
' Was he forcing himself on her? '
' But she did respond to his touch!'
' May be she like someone else.'

His phone blinked with a notification that he got a text from Tejasswi.

He got excited but his face fell down after seeing the text.

"Hi Karan! Sorry couldn't reply back. Just letting you know i won't be able to meet you for some time. My friend is visiting me from US.
Hope you are doing well. See ya."

He fell down on the couch and pouted like a baby.

"What does she think of herself!! Who the hell is she!! What does she think that he will be miserable without her. You have no idea how many women are dying to spend time with me. "

Meanwhile Tejasswi was spending time with her best friend Aditya from US.

Aditya knew something was bothering her. She denied at first but later blurted out everything. How she met Karan and has been fake dating him. He scolded her doing such creepy stuff and especially with someone she has developed real feelings.

He told him about the guy he has been dating.

Aditya knew it was something else.

"U really like him Tejasswi? Don't lie to me. When u lie your ears change into red ."
