It was Y/n's last day in Miami, the business trip finally coming to a close one week later, and she was due to fly back home to New York on an early morning flight the next day. Collectively, the team had agreed the previous night that they would make the most of their last night in the bustling city and Shawn had offered to plan a surprise for the entire group.
The curly haired man had refused to tell any of the others exactly where they were going or what they were doing, no matter how much Camila and Lauren had begged. He had only informed them that they needed to dress up and that the car would pick each of them up by eight o'clock that night.
The architect had been slightly wary, but excited. But if it was anything like the last get together Shawn had planned, she knew she should buy more tylenol and pepto bismol before her flight.
Y/n checked her watch and groaned. They still had about five hours left before they could leave the office and get ready for that night.
As the architect clicked through the program, half heartedly analyzing all the details of the miniaturized replica of the mansion, she couldn't help but look at Lauren over the monitor. The interior designer was talking with Camila, both looking at swatches of different paint colors and trying to decide which ones would best suit the home. The window on the far left side of the room shone bright with the mid afternoon sun, the golden light illuminating a portion of Lauren's side profile.
Y/n studied the way the woman's nose scrunched up as she pointed to different sheets and her lips moving with inaudible words, the plump red flesh shining with gloss.
She sighed as she daydreamed about what they would feel like on her own.Her gaze followed down the outline of the interior designer's neck, the curve of her back, and landed on the wavy hair that fell to the woman's rather large backside. Y/n's eyes travelled back up, stopping again at Lauren's partially undone white blouse, as she shamelessly checked out the raven haired goddess. The architect gulped as she noticed the top of a milky white lace bralette peeking out as the Cuban turned around towards the window.
Y/n only realized that she had been staring at the raven haired woman for a long period time when she felt eyes on her.
Tucker was looking at the architect, smirking slightly when he realized what his friend was staring at. Y/n blushed and shook out of her daze, promising herself that she would not get distracted again, as she turned her attention back to her screen. That promise lasted all but a few minutes when a raspy voice reached her ears, causing a warmth to go through her entire body.
"Hey, can I get your opinion on these colors? Camila likes them better than the ones I had originally picked out and a second opinion would be much appreciated."
Y/n looked up slowly and looked from Lauren's face down to the colored paper the woman currently held in her hand.
The architect must have stayed silent a moment too long, because Lauren nervously began retracting her hand."Or not...it's no big deal! I know that this is probably not your thing and-"
"No! I'm sorry, Lauren. You caught me off guard and I was really focused on these designs. Yes, I can take a look, no problem."
Y/n gently took the sheets of paper from Lauren, rifling through them. She frowned as she realized that she had not seen the ones that Lauren had originally chosen, so it was difficult to give a sound answer.
"I think that these are beautiful colors. I would, however, like to see the ones that you originally chose..for comparison, of course."
Lauren nodded and strode back to her desk quickly, pulling out several swatches from a folder in her briefcase. The taller woman took the colored sheets from Lauren and looked through each color, noticing that the interior designer had taken another approach.
