One Girl. One Hero

~Chapter 2: Do I have to?~

I walked through the halls gripping my books tightly. I pushed my black thick nerdy glasses up and walked head down down the hall and Madelyn put her hand on my shoulder and began "You will do great! I promise." And she had a look of pity on her face I had seen before. "I am going to to go and save you a spot!" She said, smiling sweetly and ran ahead, her hair bouncing up and down. I bumped into a girl and dropped my books. I am so clumsy! I thought and the girl and I both bent down to pick up the books that I had dropped. She looked up at me. "New here huh?" She asked still looking at me and I nodded "How did you know?" and she smiled "I had the same look on my face on my first day.. what's your name?" She said handing me my books. "Hannah. Hannah Grayson!" I said my voice shaking and she stretched out a hand and we both rose "Cynthia Wonder. Daughter of Wonder Woman.  I met your sister she is awesome!" I shook her hand, she was really nice. "What class are you going to? I am heading for History of Heroics. " She said as we walked down the hall. I nodded and then we stopped and she looked at me and said "Are you always this quiet and shy?" She asked quite interested. "No. Just when I get really nervous, mad, or upset." And she nodded. We walked to History of Heroics and I sat next to Madelyn and Cecilia. The teacher walked into the room and pointed at me and I froze, motionless while blushing "New Girl!" And he wrote a problem on the whiteboard that said If a hero were to find a citizen that was in danger by a super villian and another was drowning what would the hero do?
A. Save the one drowning then one in danger by a super villian
B. Use their telepathic powers to save both of them
C. Save the one being attacked by the super villian then the one drowning

I scribbled a few thing down in my notebook and a girl with brown hair raised her hand. "Umm B sir" I said and he smiled while looking at me. "What are you smiling at?" I asked curiously looking around the room.
"You Ms.Hannah"
"Why me?"
"98% of the people in here either guessed A or C. You see I give this to every new kid in the class" and Madelyn and Cecilia blushed so I knew 2 of those people were Madelyn and Cecilia. Then he pointed at Cecilia "Cecilia. Tell her what you guessed!" And she grumbled in response,  "Do I have to?" And with that the Professor nodded. Cecila frowned. "Fine. I guessed the next reasonable answer, C and Madelyn guessed A." And I giggled at little and everybody giggled with me knowing their mistake.  I set eyes on the cutest boy ever and he set eyes on mine.
