~Chapter 20: The day before the rest of our lives~

I was acting like a total freak show like I usually did. But today there was a reason. Tommrow was Legacy Day, the day of the rest of our lives! I was so freaking nervous that Lynda had to kick me to get my mind off it. But then I thought about my leg and how bad it hurt and Carmen ran around me to make me dizzy. Then the story goes on until finally I didn't care about my leg or how dizzy I was. All I cared about was Legacy Day. Since it was almost Legacy Day we got a day to hang with our parents
But I sat alone in the cafeteria studying because I had no parents. They had been murdered when I was about 5. About an hour later we were eating dinner and the lights flickered and fell leaving wires and fires every where. The tables shook and there were several screams and gun shots. I saw an out line of what looked like a knife up against Crystal so I did what I could. I did a roundhouse to the back of the man's ankle and broke his nose to buy Cecilia, Percy, and Wendy some time to get out. I stepped on the man's chest with all my weight. Once I saw him wincing in the darkness I ran to catch up with Wendy, Percy, and Cecilia. Carmen and Lynda ran after me. Carmen took a hold of Wendy and I ran ran out of the collapsing building. Percy took hold of Cecilia and he ran out as well. Right I we escaped the building Percy ran inside yelling "I have to get Nathan and Natalie!" I knew in my gut Percy would make it out alive. Carmen looked around for Lander but he wasn't there. Carmen ran into the building with no regrets because she would die for Lander whom she loved. Without warning Cecilia was standing at the rubble "I have to get Crystal!" My eyes watered. "You can't it's to dangerous! You would never make it out alive!" She ran in without listening to a word I said. I feel to my knees weeping. It was all my fault because I forgot to grab Crystal on my way out! Lynda knelt down beside me and put her hand on my shoulder. I saw Crystal being laughed out of the building so I jumped into action and caught her and helped her onto the ground. With dirt and tears on their face Percy and Carmen rushed out with Natalie and Nathan and Lander. I looked around for Cecilia. "WHERE IS CECILIA?!" I screeched at Carmen. Carmen and Percy looked down not speaking. "WHERE?!" And I heard Percy mutter a huge piece of the roof fell on her. And I stopped and my breathing slowed down. I had atomic syndrome wich is asthma but for emotions. Everything went black and I was lost in some galaxy with guilt and sadness. My only family.... gone. My first friend I had made at EAH was dead.. gone.. destroyed just because she wanted to save her sister's life! I yelled and got up and I saw everybody back away from me and Lynda was shivering and pointing at me. Her eyes were huge! I felt a power in me I never felt before. I shoved everybody aside entering the building and everybody followed to see what crazy idea I had inn mind. Percy knew what I was doing as he ran over and gripped the piece of the roof. I gripped on next and Wendy stood back about to hex it. Carmen and Lynda stood by Percy and we all lifted the heavy piece of the roof. Wendy hexed it making innit lighter for us to lift. We threw it aside and I left down beside Cecilia. Crystal was still outside because we wouldn't let her come. Cecilia lay on the ground and she bled everywhere and she had several bruises on her face and feet. I heard footsteps in the darkness and The Avengers were there. They must have been notified of what happend. Captain America ran over to Cecilia and bent down beside her. A strange figure walked among them who I recognized. It couldn't be him. There was no way! What I saw in front of me was amazing.
