I arrived at Marvel High to practice for Legacy Day knowing it was being held at Marvel High. Cecilia saw me and she looked as shocked as I was. I was so glad so see her! We walked over to them and my friends trailed behind me. To be honest we looked like some sort of a gang. Cecilia's friends and my old friends did the same. I introduced my friends and Cece did the same. When I introduced Carmen I saw Percy and I was quickly re-thinkng this decision. Carmen stretched out her hand and said "My name is Carmen Flash and I am the fastest person to live." Percy ' s face turned red "I might be fast-" He was cut off. I laughed They might become good friends! I thought. We began practicing for Legacy Day. Cece was first and when she got up there she looked so confident and I knew I would fail at that. Sure enough I was right. Carmen and Percy kept talking about how awesome it was to be the fastest people to ever live. They raced and they tied all three times. Madelyn was up next and then me. My voice shook as I spoke "Uh-M-My name is Hannah Hatter and I pledge to become the next." I gulped and I knew I had to have confidence so I gathered all I got "I pledge to become the next best martial artist to ever live, Nightwing!" Even though he was dead I felt like my dad was watching me practice for Legacy Day.
