Y/n has had a crush on Richard for years, but when they got assigned superpowers, he changed.

After hours of fighting, Richard and Y/n stand amongst the flames that chewed at the city around the two. She looked up to the tall male that stood a small foot in front of her.
"You realise that every decision you have made has led up to this moment?" she said, anger laced in her voice.
"I wouldn't change a thing" he said, looking into her eyes and winking.
"What the fuck, Richard?" she said, her anger felt like a massive rain cloud above her.
"y/n, its okay" he said, moving towards the small girls frame, cupping her face in his hand, "may i kiss you" he said, looking between her eyes and her lips.
"NO!" I yelled harshly. Truth is that when he looked at me, I melted. We've known each other for years, but I've never seen him in this light before. He moved closer still, one of his hands on my chin the other on my waist.
"Why are you like this?" I whispered, tears threatening to fall from my (eye colour) orbs. He looked off into the distance and took a deep, shaky breath.
"I'm sorry baby," he sighed before I felt an intense feeling of dread and pain in my side. I looked down, hands shaking. He STABBED me.
"What the fuck richard," I whimpered before everything went black.
