Ok, so your going to see some weird choices of wording, such as:

"What the hickory dickory dock?"

"SACRILEGE!!"

"YA FLOPDOODLE!!"

"Sweet cheese and fries!"

So...JUST WARNIN YA. Ok bye!

..........................

I woke up with a start. I was lying on my back on an unfamiliar dock. I quickly got up and acknowledged my surroundings. It was a old yet sturdy dock with a few boats tied up. It seemed like I was the only one there, until I noticed on the last boat, there was a young man, looked like my age, (14).

"H-hello?" I called out cautiously.

"Oh! Your awake, good! I was worried you would wake up at all!" He answered cheerfully.

"Wh-what happened?"

"Well, you were running, and then you hit your head near the dock, so I brought you here."

There was a warm fog everywhere, so I couldn't see his face well.

"Would you like a boat? I'll give one to you for free."

I thought about my options, either wait here for my creepy foster parents, or take a boat and sail far away from my troubles.

"Yes. I would love one." I answered as he guided me to a boat near the end.

As I sailed away, I looked back one more time, and was shocked at what I saw; I could now clearly see his face...well, I could see where a face was supposed to be. He was waving and seemed to be smiling, and to my surprise, I felt like he was friendly. I waved back.

"Bye!"

I turned around, and suddenly found myself in the middle of the ocean.

How the hickory dickory dock did I get here? I wondered.

I whirled around, and they were gone. The dock, the faceless boy, the boats, gone.

"What? Ok, I'm ready to wake up now!" I called out frantically, praying this was some sort of sick prank.

For the next few days I cried for the first time in a long while. I was on the brink of starvation, (and insanity) when I spotted an island on the horizon. I rubbed my eyes vigorously, hoping they weren't deceiving me, and to my delight, the island was indeed very real! And the tide brought me right to the shore! I leaped off the boat, and kissed the sand.

"Ptuh! Nasty! Yet so *ptuh* wonderful!" I spat.

I noticed there were no signs of humanity, but at the moment, I didn't care. I was safe...right...?
