"Bro, this is so creepy! It's like the plot for OLD!" Danny shuddered.

"Oh stop scaring yourself! Or do I need to brake out the heels?!" Becky threatened while motioning like she was about to rip off her pumps and yeet them at his head.

"No ma'am!" He squeaked.

While they squabbled, I went outside to clear my head. I sat down on the edge of a high balcony and breathed in the cool, fresh air.

"You should be careful."

I whirled around to see the boy I met at the dock, standing right beside me.

"Wha-?!"

"You could fall." He said right as I heard a snap. All the sudden, the railing fell out from under me and I felt the same feeling as I had when I was falling off the cliff. Expecting to hit the hard ground, I instead opened my eyes and looked into his blank, non existent, yet oddly handsome face. I stared up and realized that I had plummeted 3 story's off the railing...and yet, here I was, in the arms of my savior.

"How did you get down here so fast? Wait, how are you even here?"

"I saved you, because your not ready to go yet."

"Thank you, but that doesn't answer my question."

He sighed and put me down gently. He looked at me, like he was about to tell me something, but paused and brushed my hair out of my face gently. He looked embarrassed, (as much as a faceless man could look embarrassed), and told me,

"It is not your time to go home yet. I wish I could tell you more, but this is all you need to know at the moment."

Home? What did he mean by "home"? My foster parents?

"Good edgelord cause I don't plan on going home anytime soon!" I said as I brushed myself off. I noticed something. The railings looked brand new. So how did that break?

"Wait. DID YOU BREAK THE RAILING?!"

"WHAT?! No! I would never try to kill you!" He stepped back defensively.

"Then, who wants me dead?"

"I-I don't know, but stay close to me. I don't want you getting hurt." He said, holding my shoulders tight.

Was he crazy?! He could have been the one who weakened the railing in the first place! No way was I giving him another chance to get rid of me or my friends!

"No thank youuuuuuu...." Now that I was free from his arms, I realized just HOW BIG he was. He looked about 6ft 6in!! But he was skinnier then Sticks, and that was saying something!

"Alright, listen here ya sorry excuse for a twig,"

"Excuse me?" He asked, shocked at my sudden outburst.

"I don't know who you are, or where you came from, or HOW YOU EVEN GOT HERE, but I want you to leave me alone! Until your off the hook, I've got my eye on you. Got it?!" I said, pulling up a stool so I could at least look him in the eyes.

He brushed a mop of black and red hair out of his face.

"Y-yes ma'am..." he mumbled nervously while giving me a wimpy mock salute.

"That's more like it!"

I was interrupted by the sound of David screaming. We ran back up the steps just in time to see him collapse on the floor. Olivia ran to him and checked his pulse. She started sobbing.

"What? What happened?!" Becky yelled, leaping from the cot.

"H-he's gone...guys, David's dead."
