"What?!"

"You heard me!" Becky said with a humph.

"That means..." Olivia started slowly with realization

"...that someone is trying to stop us from getting off the Island." I finished gravely.

"But, who could know what happened to us? Everyone thinks that we're just the new campers." Danny said.

"Wait, if you couldn't find the boats, what if someone else found them?" I wondered.

"So? Even if they found the boats, how would they know they were ours? Besides, let's say they found out they were ours, why would they try to keep us on the island?" Sticks pointed out.

"Good point."

"Well, then what would be their motive?" Becky asked.

"I don't know, but we have another matter on our hands, what happened to us exactly? All I remember is falling of a cliff-" I was cut off by David.

"Wait, you almost died to? I was hit by a car and it took off my leg!"

"No way! I was rammed into by a stray bull me and my folks were trying to round up. That dang horn went right into my noggin." Danny said.

"I was getting bullied at school, and I was pushed so hard that I ran into the sink headfirst. It broke the sink in two." Olivia said while pushing up her broken glasses.

"I was locked in an abandoned building by some bullies for 2 weeks and I passed out from starvation."

"And I was putting my mascara on when a dog jumped up on me and knocked me over sending the mascara wand straight into my eye." Becky added.

"And I was cornered by my crazy foster parents and fell off a cliff...right onto the rocks below." I said.

"And then I came here on a boat." We all said at the same time.

"Does that mean...we're dead?" David asked.

Becky slapped him.

"OWW! What the heck?!"

"We can't be dead. If we were dead, we wouldn't feel pain."

"True, so...what did happen?"

"Well, first we have to figure out how to get off the island, then we can figure that out afterwards." Becky said.

"Good plan."
