Lost and found

Chapter 7

"No you can't do that. I won't let you" I said sternly to the guy standing in front of my best friend. He had a knife to his neck.

I couldn't scream. Or fight. If I did they would just kill him. I had to stay calm.

"And why shouldn't we just kill him you know he betrayed us" this bitch was getting on my nerves.

"You know he didn't it was a misunderstanding". I looked at him sat on the chair bloody face covered in bruises. He had been beaten pretty bad

"Don't lie to me Diamond or you might have the same fate". I scoffed at him and he looked at me in bewilderment.

"Put the knife down" I looked at him and he smirked he slowly started pressing the knife into his neck and I could see the trace of tears in my friends eyes.

Thats when I started to get worried. And I lost it "PUT THE  GOD DAMN FUCKING KNIFE DOWN NOW!" he didn't stop. Oh shit he's gonna kill him

I looked at my best friend and he had pleading eyes. He wanted me to save him. I'm not letting him die. Not by the hands of this idiot.

I looked straight at my friend "listen, Kai. Everything's gonna be okay, alright. You're gonna be fine." My tone kept getting more desperate I could hear it

"Stop" the knife got deeper. It was gonna kill him "STOP IT" I pounced but it was too late. All I could see was Kai"s body on the floor with blood pooling from his neck.

"Kate" I can't stop staring at him

"Kate" oh god there's so much blood

"Kate!" I shot up from my bed breathing heavily and I could feel some stray tears falling down my face. It was just a dream. But it wasn't.

I looked forward to find the source of my waking up and as usual it was Scarlett. But for once I was happy that she did it

I jumped on her and gave her a big hug of relief.

"Woah there calm down. What happened?" I waited a minute until answering. I needed a hug.

"Just a bad dream that's all"

"Well that's good cos there's a guy downstairs waiting for you. Says he's your friend so ide hurry up" she mentioned as she got up and began walking backwards towards the door.

As she got closer to the door something sprung in my head
"Scarlett, Stop!" I shouted at her. She froze "What?" She questioned me.

"You're gonna hurt yourself if you keep walking. You have no shoes on" she looked at me like I was an alien.

I got up and put some sliders in before walking towards the door. I had a quick inspection until I looked at the floor about two steps away from Scarlett.

A shard of glass. Not a small one either. It was stood up also. Had she stood on that it would have went straight through her foot

I picked it up and turned to her showing what I had found. "How in the world did you know that was there?" I didn't know myself honestly

"Im gonna get dressed and come downstairs. I'll see you there. Be careful please". I rushed out of my mouth as well as rushing her out of my room. What the hell just happened?

I go to my vanity and keep the loose curls from yesterday in my hair as well as my usual light makeup and decide for something cute but comfy.

I went and brushed my teeth as well as spray some deodorant as I haven't showed recently so. Then it occurred to me that there's still someone downstairs waiting for me.

I grab my phone and make my way down my stairs. I wonder who it could be. As I got to the living room all I could see was the back of his head but I knew instantly who it was. I thought he'd be gone by now.

"Jungwon" he turned to me. He looked quite excited and had a smile on his face. But I could see the deviousness behind that smile.

"Hey I was just talking to you sister while I waited for you" that's when I noticed Scar on the couch opposite him and she had a smile on her face as well.

We're they laughing together?  Something unknown to me pinged at my heart string.

Oh no

I'm jealous

I can't be. I won't be. Let's just get this over with

"May I ask why you are here" may as well be straight up after what happened yesterday with him

"Kate don't be rude" my sister scolded me. I rolled my eyes and scoffed at her.

" can we talk outside?" I aimed that at jungkook. He just nodded at me with a smile and got up saying his goodbyes to my sister and following behind me. What's this guy up to?

We made it to the porch outside my house and as soon and the door shut behind us both he spoke.

"Do you have everything you would need?" What? What's he talking about

"Would need for what?"

"Would need to go out. And like on you". He questioned. Why does he want to know that.

"Well I mean, yeah bu-" he cut me off my grabbing my hand and dragging me to his car. I kept protesting once we got the the car.

He opened  the passenger door "get in" ummm rude much

"Errrr no"

"Last chance before I make you" I just rolled my eyes and scoffed at him.

When I looked at him again he did that thing with his tongue through his cheek. Man that was hot. He looked at me. Frustration and desire went through he eyes.

"I warned you" and with that he picked me up no matter my protests and sat me in the car and even went as far as putting my seatbelt on for me.

What is this guys problem?

He slammed the door shut and walked around to the drivers side and hopped in. He started the engine and we drove off but he was going really fast. Too fast.

"Jungwon , can you slow down please?" His speed just kept getting faster

"Hey slow down" I tried to sound scared which I was but he didn't listen. That's it

"STOP THE FUCKING CAR!" And at that he slammed on the breaks making me jump forward a bit.

I turned to my side to look at the maniac at the wheel only to see him staring down.

"What the hell was that?!?!" He finally looked up at me.

I couldn't tell what he was thinking though I could tell that he was frustrated in many ways.

"We need to talk" he finally broke the silence.

"Fine then talk" he looked at me with as much annoyance as ever. What's gotten into him?

"I know you've figured me out. So we need to make a deal"
