Chapter 10

I'm now sat in front of a laptop that Jungwon just whipped up outta nowhere. Both of us sat on the sofa facing the screen that's sat on the coffee table in front of us. On the screen was a sort of 'thought board' with pictures of people and notes dotted all over and dead on in the centre was a picture of Nishimura Riki. A guy I used to know very well a very long time ago, but that's for a different time.

"Okay so, this" he point to the guy at the centre "is Niki. He's one of our guys, a very important one of our guys."

"I know who he is" I kept looking straight at the screen even when I felt Jungwons gaze against the side of my face.

"Of course you do" he sighed and looked back at the screen "he's been taken, and we need him back" then he looked at me expectantly. "That's where you come in"

"Wait how important is he for you guys to go through so much trouble or save him from whoever the fuck has him, the group I knew didn't care about each other and just let each other die." I questioned, I wasn't wrong, if someone was taken they were left for dead. It was pretty brutal if you ask me.

"Let's just say we are under new management" his face was blank. I couldn't read a thing from this guy.

"What do you mean new management, What happened to Yeonjun?" He looked at me and slightly smirked.

"He's uh... going through some issues right now so someone has taken over for him" Oh! Why do I feel like I need to meet this new leader? See how he's running things.

"Okay, so who is this new leader?" I questioned

"Classified" He answered almost immediately shutting my question down instantly.

"That's helpful"I scoffed at him and looked back down at the screen. "So who has Riki?"

He gave me a funny look, I'm assuming because of the name I chose to use "A rival of ours, Str-"

"Stray Kids, ye how did I know?" Stray kids have been their rival for who knows how long, now I'm starting to see why they've brought me into this, "So that explains why you need me"

"Wait what do you mean?" Jungwon asked

"What do you mean? That's why you need me right?" He does know about this surely.

"I'm confused a little, we need you to help us get into their base, what are you talking about?" He asked me suspiciously, clearly he didn't know.

"Nothing" I replied in the same tone as him "let me make a quick phone call" I whipped out my phone and dialled a familiar number holding it to my ear until I hear who I'm looking for answer.

She picked up her phone and dialled a number, it seemed to have only rang a few times before someone answered. I couldn't hear who was on the other end put I do have to say I was very curious, then I heard her speak.

"Hey I need a favour" I couldn't hear the answer but she smirked to it so I'm assuming it was a good thing.

"Ye I need that favour, you know the one you owe me" Owing favours? She knows what she's doing, how has she been so underestimated this entire time?

"I need some information and i need you to give it to me, it was part of the deal" I hear a muffled sigh from the other end of the phone and then she smiled. She has a pretty smile.

"Okay perfect. I'll text you what I need," she switched to a serious tone so fast it almost gave me whiplash, "and I mean all of it" wow.

She hung up the phone and looked at me slightly excited, and I looked at her questioningly. "So who was that" I asked.

"Who it was doesn't matter, however I can get two people into their base safely, but only two, and one of them has to be me." Absolutely not.

"Are you crazy? No! I'm not risking you getting hurt."

"Sweet" she gave me a cute look, but then it instantly disappeared, "but are you deaf? I said safely, I won't get hurt"

"Not a chance I'm not risking it"

"Look either someone goes in with me or you don't get in at all it's your choice" she stood up crossed her arms and looked at me cockily with her eyebrows raised, and that look makes her look so damn good I never want it to leave her face.

Focus Jungwon.

I thought about her proposal for a few seconds and rose to my feet also while I came to a conclusion "fine but your going in with me"

"Isn't that for your boss to decide" she questions.

"Oh sweetheart no one can argue with me on this" I Said as I made my way towards her. I raised my hand and gently grabbed her chin making her look up at me "so I guess we better get used to each other huh?" I smirked at her. This is gonna be fun.
