"what happened？ today you are looking so distracting. Are you okay？ there was concerned in his tone.

I didn't said anything,  I took my coffee cup to sip. I know since I came from hospital Jack treating me like princess. I didn't knew he and his family are too caring. Yeah！ you asking me I'm distracted and not paying attending in this world then its true. My mind trying to find out the clue of those incident taken place in my life. I can not sit here my whole life wait for someone to come tell me about the case. I know these cops aren't capable to tackle this case. If I wasn't there, these people would have turn my friend's case into a runway case.
and they would have been closed the case. I am wasting my time here with him sipping this stupid coffee. I think I should go for Mary search. Might be I will get some clue of Veronica case. I  joked though he should take my place and I should take his. But he didn't look piss off, very calmly he replied me back" why not sure, if you feel like".

Well I have good instincts than Jack so In this case I don't need him with me everytime, I can do investigation by my own. He was busy in mailing someone on this phone. I stood up to leave the table, I halt on my track. I can not leave him. He is so sweet and cute, I know if now I will leave him I will be loosing him forever. He wouldn't be part of  this investigation anymore. I don't know what he thinks about me. I know he is already engaged with other girl, deliberately I am trying to squeeze myself in his life, without having any clear picture of my life.

" Maddy what happened, where are you going"? Jack saw me standing alone far off from his table on my track.

" Will you tell me why do you like me"? I turned around. I wanted to ask this question from him since very long time but I was unable to together courage ask this question, today I  have asked.

" Oh  ！It's so simple Maddy you are hot" he busted out in laugh as he played a joke.

"I also laughed with him the way he said " bit  lack, seriously I want to know why me not someone's else.

"Maddy you hold especial place in my heart. You are different than other girls, girls talks about make up, drinking , partying but you  never did such talks. You never cared whether I have money in my pocket or not. I get caring from you. Not like a friend, like a family" He held my hands in his hands.

"I am not your type" I stepped back.

" What do you mean, you aren't my type?"

"you are so nice and I am sarcastic sometimes I say awful words to hurt you". I sighed .

He laughed at me. Maddy come on that's okay, I have never took that seriously. Maddy you are very cute person, what I always seen you to be very rough and tough person but I never known you too have that sweet and nice soft corner.

"" I know Maddy something really bad happens you that's why sometimes you behave weirdo. I love to stay around you, you aren't only cute, you are intelligent too. And being a cop I love to stay with intelligent girls and I found you".

I didn't say anything expect listening him silently.

"  Maddy why don't you meet me up at my parents house, over there we will talk more about children missing cases”. Before he could say more, I giggled.

" What did you say?, you still live with your parents. Come on Jack you are all grown up now" I couldn't stop myself giggling.

" Stop laughing at me. I am with my parents is, cause I love them and on other hand I am saving my money not for me, actually saving for my family".

I don't know why I didn't found Jacks words valid, I kept giggling at Jack.

"Maddy you are such a dork. Honestly".

Jack got little  upset from my childish  behavior. He stomps away, I am still chuckling when I go back on sit down.  There is no smile on his face. Oh ! Is he envy?. 

I raised my coffee cup again to sip the left over coffee.  There was a little woman.  Who was standing near by a oak tree.  I got distract by her,constantly she was waving hand at my direction.   Her hair is in silver color, almost with a hint of blue in it.  She is wearing  old lady clothes.  I didn't moved from my place,  cause I don't know her,  when she see I am not leaving my seat.  She started floating in air and increased  her steps towards me.  Fine Maddy meet with an other ghost, Great. 

"If what". "Jack prompts

" Are you okay Maddy". ？？？？？？？

I blurred out in confusion and more in fear.
