Maddy what's up? With whom you were talking too?
I didn't paid much attention on Jack words. I focused on Veronica. After seeing her face for long I noticed her face been smashed multiple times with something heavy stuff . She was looking so horrifying. There were multiple open wounds and blood drifting out from each wound. I don't understand why this piece of cloth wrapped around her eyes.
Veronica? Is that you?
" I am not sure she can hear me either not but I will strive again. Again I called by her name.
Veronica it's me Maddy.
She whimper and thumps against the floor. I winced, I could see so much pain in her. I can see she had been suffered from horrify situation and after death still she is going through that pain. " Veronica, me and Jack we both are doing hard work to solve your case as soon as possible. I would not let the culprit go without punishment" I said softly.
" Maddy I am so tired, I need peace.. I want to go in deep sleep".
Jack seemed little confused when he saw me talking in the air. Jack moved towards the bed and peering underneath the other side of the bed". He frowns at me.
" Veronica I know you are so tired but you have to keep trying we all are here for you. Please stay with me. We all are looking for you". I sobbed
" I am in so much pain. It's hurts me alot ".
"I know you are. We all are trying over best, as soon as possible we are about to close the case. We need you stand besides us to reach to your culprit". My voices catches sobs.
"Will you ask him not to hurt me, after death still I feel the same pain". She begged, her eyes bleed.
She whimper and suddenly she disappears. I couldn't stop myself crying, Jack just stood besides me, he helped me get on my feet and made me sit on my bed. Jack sat besides me . I rested my head on his shoulder.
Veronica sound echoing on my head again and again. "Please don't hurt me I am already dead"
" I felt her pain, my entire body is in shock. My eyes crying for Veronica. I didn't knew her death was that tough. Her's soul suffers so much. Today I am feeling so much helpless. Jack was there seeing me crying. While Jack comforting me. I hear door crack opened and closed when I drifted my eyes towards the door.
He didn't stopped me crying further. He let me cry my heart out. First time I cried so much, even I had never cried like this when I had lost my mother, that time I was too small understood grieve.
" I know you got some clue of the case. I want you to tell me each and everthing, what you have seen? " his voice was little rough.
" What I have learned till now is that mirror boy. We need to find out him first. If we can discover what happened to him then surely we can find out what happened to the rest.
"How can you say that boy history is linked with rests murders"
"I don't know anything. What I have noticed yet, wherever I go I get to see him everywhere. He haunts me in my dreams now".
"All right I will try to find out what happened to him. Give me few days. I will be back to you when I will come to know about his death history". He left the room.
I know tonite was terrified for me but eventually we are pretty close to the case now. I was hoping. I drift in sleep.
I invited Jack today in breakfast. I have already taken permission from Mrs. Henry. It's almost 11am and still my breakfast is not ready. I know Jack can be here anytime, before he come I want to keep the breakfast ready. I don't want to feel embarrass. It feels bad when your guest is on door step but yet you aren't prepared with anythings. Eventually before stricks 11:10am I am done with the cooking . Big smile formed on my lips.
There is no sign of Jack . I grabbed the laptop and started researching on mirror boy. I have been looking some clue but didn't found yet. I hope today he would have some new updates with him.
After researching more I failed get any information about him. I know he is the key to the other cases but how. I have to find out as soon as possible. I threw laptop on other side in frustration. I can not wait for Jack come. I am not sure he can find out or not. I will have to try by myself also, Yes, I am saying about telepathying him again. I need to call him no matter he scare me my butts off. I have to do it.
I ran up to room, closed the door behind me. I made the room completely dark. I sat on my bed in crossed legs. Closed my eyes tighter. I started focusing on mirror boy image.
" I need you here. I wanna talk to you. If you can listen me please answer. I know you always appeared to scare me or kill, I don't know it was but now I want you to do your work, if you want to kill me then can. Answer me Answer me. I would give my life to know what happened to her.
My phone bell rang. Immediately I answered the call. My face goes blank has I heard voice on other line. Before leaving house I thought to inform Jack, but in a hurry, I didn't call Jack. I grabbed my backpack, took my cellphone and rushed out. I took cab, asked to drop me St. Joseph street.
As soon as I left the cab I reached to the address where that person had called me.
