Oikawa decided to follow Iwaizumi to his Kingdom, due to pure curiosity and lack of caring for Iwaizumi's wishes. They all got to the Kingdom without anyone noticing Oikawa pretending to be one of their own. Oikawa followed Iwaizumi into the castle with little to no effort, only getting stopped once or twice. When Oikawa managed to catch up with Iwaizumi, he turned into a room, and Oikawa stood outside and listened.
"Did you kill him?" A voice asked, to which Oikawa could only pin to as Iwaizumi's father, the King. Iwaizumi didn't respond to his father, and Oikawa could only assume that the 'him' his father was talking about was himself. "Well?"
"No, sir." Iwaizumi finally answered. Sir? That was a new one on Oikawa. He could never imagine Iwaizumi showing anyone respect. It was weird, to say the least.
"You little piece of sh!t." Oikawa's eyes widened in shock and he peered in to see none other than Iwaizumi's father seated on the throne, glaring at his son. "Why the hell not?"
"I-I can't kill him, father." Iwaizumi stuttered, which surprised Oikawa even more. Iwaizumi has never shown fear before, let alone to the point of stuttering.
The King rolled his eyes. "Not this again. You are a monster, Hajime. You are incapable of love. Especially if it's someone who is destined to kill you."
"But I love him, father." Iwaizumi tried to reason, yet to no avail.
"No, you don't!" There was a piercing scream, and Oikawa looked away from the throne room, unable to watch the events unfold. When he looked back in he saw Iwaizumi holding his right arm and kneeling down on one knee, the King towering over him, sword in hand. "You don't love him, and you never will."
"I offered to wed him if that assured his protection." Iwaizumi confessed, his eyes trained on the ground.
"Why?" The King narrowed his eyes at him
"I want him safe." Iwaizumi told him
The King burst out laughing, obviously finding the situation funny for whatever reason. "You slaughtered his family. You burned his Kingdom. You even killed someone who was important to a person close to you just to hurt him. Do you really think he's going to accept anything from you?" Iwaizumi grimaced, desperately wanting to erase that memory from everyone's head. That is something he has regretted ever since he did it, and he wishes he could undo it so badly. "And even if he did decide to foolishly accept you, I wouldn't allow it. Not only is he an enemy, but I do not accept fags in this castle."
"Yes, father. I understand." Iwaizumi mumbled
"Good. Now get out of my sight." His icy gaze sent shivers down Oikawa's spine as he watched their interaction.
"Yes, father." Iwaizumi walked out of the room and stopped in front of Oikawa. "I told you not to come."
Oikawa shrugged "I didn't listen."
Iwaizumi sighed "When will you swallow that worthless pride of yours?"
"When were you going to tell me the truth?" Oikawa asked, placing his hands on his hips.
"Never." He responded
"Then never," Oikawa told him. Iwaizumi scowled and took Oikawa's hand, pulling him towards his room. Oikawa obediently followed Iwaizumi, staring at his wounded arm. "Does it hurt?"
"No." Iwaizumi didn't even spare Oikawa a glance before responding.
"Liar." Oikawa spat
"Then why'd you ask?" Iwaizumi glared at Oikawa, who rolled his eyes.
"Take me to the infirmary. And do not argue with me." Iwaizumi sighed but changed courses to the infirmary. "Iwa-Chan?"
"What?" Iwaizumi asked, seemingly already fed up with today, his voice tired.
"Why don't you just kill me? I know you're in love, but I don't get why you would let me live. Your father had a point." Oikawa said
"Love makes you do crazy, stupid things." Iwaizumi replied
"I don't know whether I should be insulted or flattered. But... thank you." Oikawa gave Iwaizumi a small smile.
"Where's that worthless pride of yours gone?" Iwaizumi grinned at Oikawa, who pouted.
"You ruined the mood, Iwa!" Oikawa whined
Iwaizumi gave a nonchalant shrug "Ah, what a shame."
"I will make your wound hurt even more." Oikawa threatened
"You wouldn't dare." Iwaizumi narrowed his eyes at Oikawa, who smirked.
Oikawa stuck his thumb into the wound and pushed down on it, causing Iwaizumi to hold back a scream. "What was that? I couldn't quite hear you behind all the attitude."
"You b!tch." Iwaizumi shot Oikawa a glare
"Thank you!" Oikawa gave him a sickly sweet smile. "I try."
"Hey, 'Kawa," Matsukawa said as he walked past the two
"Hey, Mattsun," Oikawa responded
Matsukawa suddenly stopped and turned to them, confused. "What happened to bitter enemies?"
"I got curious and sneaked in against Iwa's will," Oikawa told him
Matsukawa sighed "Of course you did. You don't think that's a little weird or creepy?"
"No. Why? Do you think it is?" Oikawa asked
"I am not mentally prepared for this conversation. I'm just gonna leave you two lovebirds to it." Matsukawa walked off without many questions asked, not wanting to find stuff out he wish he never knew.
"Come on, Iwa-Chan. Keep walking." Oikawa instructed
"Alright, fine. I still hate you." Iwaizumi started walking, mumbling about how much he hated Oikawa.
"The feeling's mutual, hot stuff." Oikawa agreed
"Ah, you think I'm hot." Iwaizumi winked at him
Oikawa gagged before stopping to think about it for a moment. "Actually, kinda, yeah."
