i woke up to javon shaking me. "get up y/n, it's 8:12am, your mum will be here soon." javon said as he sat beside me. "where's daelo?" i asked.
"don't worry, he's still upstairs sleeping." javon said as he got up and walked back upstairs. i walked to the kitchen to make breakfast for daelo and the others. as i walked into the kitchen, i accidentally bumped into jaden. i swiftly turned around and knocked a glass of the counter. it shattered on the floor. i hurried to clean it up. i ran to get a bag to put the glass in. as he collected the glass on the floor. "ah..fuck." he said as he sliced his hand open. i grabbed his other hand and dragged him to the bathroom.
"where are we going?" jaden asked as he followed me up the stairs. "to go clean your cut silly."
as i reached the top step, i tripped, hitting my nose on the floor. "ouch." i shouted. jaden rushed me into the bathroom. he lifted me onto the counter and ran the sink.
i grabbed a wet paper towel and wiped my nose clean. "okay we have to take care of your hand now." i said as i jumped down from the counter and grabbed the bandages from the top shelf. i reached for the disinfectant wipes but i couldn't reach. then, i felt jadens hands touch my waist as he reached over me and grabbed the wipes. i turned around and our faces were inches apart from each others. i could feel his breath on my neck as he reach to place the wipes next to the sink. he stepped back and handed me the wipes. i snapped back into focus and opened the packet. "does this hurt?" i asked as i wiped his cut clean. "not rea- ouch." he said as i wiped the last part of his cut. i wrapped the bandage around is hand as i stared into his deep brown eyes.
"i better get going." jaden said as he stepped away from me. "i've got baseball practice, i hope to see you soon though, y/n." he said as he smirked before leaving the bathroom.
