~sorry for the delay.. a year n a month delay.. but i'm back now so!! ~

i woke up peacefully in jayla's bed. she smelled so good; like vanilla and flowers. i know it's corny but i was so glad i met her. she's so pretty and way too good for me yet she loves me just as much as i love her, platonically.

as i lay there, i wondered wether to tell her that i had a fat crush on her brother but i felt as if it was best to keep him anonymous. the silence was broken when i heard jayla's bedroom door creek open. i closed my eyes, pretending to be asleep. i heard some foot steps come towards me. they stopped for a couple seconds but left soon after. after pretending to be asleep, i grew extremely sleeping and dozed off in jayla's comfortable king sized bed.

i woke up soon after to the feeling of someone's cold hands on my shoulder, rocking me back and forth. it was jayla. she seemed very happy. i rubbed my eyes and asked what was going on. she told me that she had planned a surprise for everyone and that me, her, javon and jaden were going to be away for the weekend. daelo wasn't invited because he went to go to his friends house for a sleepover and he was visiting is grand parents for their birthday. i was so excited that they invited me since we only met a couple weeks ago. i can't remember the last time i slept in my bed since i was always around the waltons. it was nice to feel loved since my family was going through a rough divorce. she told me to get ready and look presentable since we were going for a 'date'. she didn't actually mean a date, she meant like 2 on 2 out for a nice meal followed with some bowling and going in the arcades. i was genuinely thrilled until she told me i'd be 'paired' up with jaden since she'd rather go with javon because he's more of a 'talker'. i wasn't mad at all; in fact i was thrilled, but i couldn't show her these emotions. i told her "ah okay it's whatever" and she left while i gathered my charger and my clothes i wore the previous day.
