~One Week Later~

"Okay. Are you Ready?"

"Yeah."

"Are you sure?'

"Nicole! Just play."

"OK! Geez..." I was finally playing for Hunter. It had been a week since we met. He's been busy re situating himself and we've been planning for the tour.

"Wow. That was awesome!"

"Really?"

"Really." Hunter says as he glances at me with those big blue eyes and sideways grin I hate to admit I think a lot about.

"So how about we celebrate the finalizing of our tour?"

"Oh! Does that mean paintball?"

"You're such a twelve year old boy."

"Well what's your idea?"

"Drinks? On me."

"Deal! Yay!"

~Later That Night~

"Ha ha ha ha!" I was laughing so hard my stomach began to hurt. "Stop! Stop! It hurts." I tried to catch my breath as Hunter leaned over the bar looking sideways at me.

"Okay don't wanna hurt yourself."

"I know but it's so funny!"

"Or... we've had too much to drink."

"Yeah probably." I say unable to peel my eyes off of him. "How am I gonna get home? I cannot drive!"

"Me either." He says as he begins to think about our hilarious situation. "Split a cab?"

"Sure." I stumble onto my feet off the stool. Hunter grabs my arm as I begin to fall and I cling to him for balance.

"Easy there."

"You're as drunk as I am."

"But I can walk."

"Well then carry me."

"What?" He says with an amused look on his face.

"Piggy-back-ride!" He laughs but turns around and crouches down for me to jump on his back.

"I don't think this was a good idea." He says as he stumbles to the door.

"Shhh..." We climb into a cab and sit in the back. I'm so tired I rest my head on his shoulder.

"Do you like me?" He asks out of nowhere.

"Yeah."

"I mean really like me."

"Oh you mean like, like like you." He laughs at my grammatically incorrect choice of words.

"Do you?" I look up from where I was leaning on him. His eyes looking down at me. Staring me down.

"Too much, I think..."

"Good."

"Wha-" He leans into me and presses his lips to mine. His breath is warm and he tastes like whiskey and salt. His lips are warm but slightly chapped. His hands find their way through my hair. He pulls me closer and it's like we're inhaling each other. With each breath on the others lips we become closer and closer. This kiss gives me goosebumps but his skin is hot and I can feel his body heat radiating off of him through his shirt. When the cabs stops at Hunter's apartment he throws whatever cash is in his wallet at the driver. We make our way up to his apartment and to his room. He shrugs his jacket off and cups my face with his hands and looks into my eyes. He kisses me again. When he pulls back he says something. We're so close that every word he says I can feel on my lips.

"We drank too much." He says breathy and quietly.

"Too much." We both laugh then he pulls me into him again.
