My eyes blink awake as I lean my head up from the window of the bus. Weird. I don't remember falling asleep... i erase the though from my mind and I check my phone.
12:35am
I should be there soon. It's only about a three hour bus ride, counting all the stops.
I look around me to find that I am the only one left on the bus besides a middle age woman with a crumpled brown paper bag in her lap, and a very tired looking man in a suit, with red bloodshot eyes.
I pass the next half hour by making up story's in my mind about why the other people are on the bus, and where they were going. I came to the conclusion that the woman was on her way to her friends cousins late night baby shower with the theme of "rocken the 60's" that she said she would go to with her because she lost a bet. and what was in her brown bag? Two scrunchies, a orange hair extension and a wheel from her roller blades from when she was 16 at her first job at the roller rink.
The man however was going home to his wife after "working late" at the office. Or so he told his wife, which we all know is a lie.
The bus rolls up to the last stop and the brakes screech to a halt. I grab my backpack up from the seat next to me and walk down the isle and down the steps of the bus. Thanking the bus driver on the way out. It is now pitch black outside and a little chilly. I need a place to stay, I think to myself as I zip my jacket up as far as it will go before pulling out my phone and look up the closest hotel to me.
It only has two out of five stars but it will do for one night or until I can fine a better place to stay... I hope it has free breakfast...
Well looks like The Economy Inn hotel is where I will be staying tonight.Hey guys! I hope you like the next chapter! I know next to nothing happened in it, but I'm just trying to progress the story a little more so I can figure out what I want to do with it and how i will get it there. Just hold in there. Lol I'm working on the next chapter directly after this one seeing as though this one did not take me very long to write. Thanks for reading and I will see you next time. Byeeee. :)
