𝐁𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐆𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐌𝐄halloween night, she had been able to stop herself from crying. she went straight to the bathroom to wash the joker makeup off, noticing the fact that some of daniel's blood splattered onto her face. her heart tugged at the thought of what she had done to daniel. even though he shouldn't have said those things to cassie just because she said no, vesper shouldn't have beaten the boy into a bloody pile of shit on the floor. she regretted everything she had done that night, including her screaming at maddy. but it was too late to take it back and maddy probably hated her.
she sat into the sink so she could look at herself in the mirror, wiping her face with no real care in the world. she just wanted to crawl into her bed and go to sleep. she just wanted to ignore the world for a few days before she had to go to school on monday. the sound of footsteps approaching the bathroom is what made vesper look to the door, seeing xan appear in the doorway. she let out a sigh, hoping that her brother would be sound asleep since it was a little past midnight. but then again, the three siblings were all basically sleep deprived.
