𝐈𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐀 𝐅𝐄𝐖 𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄 everything had gone down between xan and vesper, and let's just say it hasn't gotten any better. the two barely talked to one another and tried their hardest to avoid the other. teddy hated that, wanting them to work things out with each other, but one thing about his siblings is that they were fucking stubborn. they would rather ignore each other than be the first one to apologize.
vesper was changing her clothes, having just finished up a shift at frank's diner. it was maddy's birthday and she had to go see her girl. she had changed into some black baggy cargo pants and a ribbed tank top, throwing a flannel shirt over it. the only thing that she did to her hair was fluff it out more, liking the messy state it was in. she grabbed maddy's present from off her dresser before she left her room. she made her way to the fort door, catching the attention of xan, who had noticed that she changed and was getting ready to leave again.
"uh, where do you think you're going?" he questioned, making vesper stop and turn around.
"it's maddy's birthday." she answered simply, grabbing her keys.
