Chapter 2-Broken lights

Sun opened his eyes, blinking to clear his blurry vision. He saw a machine above him and a bright light next to it. He was confused for a second, and then he remembered. 'Moon!' He turned his head to the other chair and there was Moon, he now had his hat on and was sitting up, staring at sun. "You took forever to wake up," He said, standing up. "Moon!" Exclaimed Sun. He leaped out of the chair and hugged Moon tightly. "You're really here!" Sun said happily. Moon hugged him back and moved close to his ear. "I told you so~" Moon whispered. Sun broke away from the hug and crossed his arms. Then came the angry pouty face. "Well I had a right to be scared. There could've been so much that went wrong!" He said, swinging his head away, trying to look offended.

"Look at me," said Moon. Sun didn't turn his head but instead gave him a side look. "Does it look like I'm falling apart?" He asked. "Well, no but you could be falling apart from the inside and we would never know. Do you feel ok? You don't feel sick or anything right?" Sun asked worriedly, turning in Moon's direction. "Sunny, I'm fine." "Are you sure?" "Yes."

"Could you two get out of the cylinder? Again, I don't have all day." Said the technician impaciently. "Well do you have somewhere else you need to be? Somewhere that requires us out of the cylinder?" Moon said, crossing his arms with a glare. "Moon, don't be mean! He seperated us, we should thank him." Sun said, with a happy smile at the technician. The technician rolled his eyes in reply. "Just get out," said the technician. "Ugh, come on Sun let's go," said Moon, leaving the cylinder and starting towards the exit. Sun followed him, thanking the technician as he walked by him.

Exiting parts and service, they started to walk back to the daycare. Moon could see Sun was about to burst with excitment, his smile looking brighter than ever. "You know that we actually have to clean up the daycare before we do anything else right? We had to leave right when it closed so we didn't get much accomplished," Moon said. "Can't we do something else before we clean up?" Sun whined. "No, the kids left a huge mess today we have to clean it up first. All of the glitter glue is probably dried by now too so it's gonna be hard," Moon replied. Sun groaned, dramatically flipping his head back and slouching over, starting to drag his feet along. He did love cleaning but not when he had millions of other things he would rather do.

"Hey," Moon nudged Sun's shoulder and pointed to the daycare doors which were now in view. Freddy was standing in front of them, scratching his head and looking around as if he didnt know what to do. "Hey Freddy! Were you looking for us?" Sun asked, running over to Freddy. "Oh there you are! Yes, I came here to tell you-" Freddy stopped, seeing Moon walking up behind Sun. He looked back at Sun and then back at Moon. He kept looking back and forth, completly dumbfounded. "Oh yeah we got seperated today! We were in parts and service so that's why we didn't answer," Sun said, smiling sheepishly. "So I'm not seeing things! That's amazing! Congratulations, I guess?" Freddy said. Sun smiled brightly. "Yeah thanks, but what were you gonna tell us?" Moon asked. "Oh yes! So there are some lights in the pizzaplex that arn't exactly in top shape... Some are out, some are flickering, some are..." He sucked his teeth. "So bad they're sezuire inducing... BUT anyways no one was badly hurt and the pizzaplex will be closed tommorow so that the staff can try and fix all those lights," Freddy said happily.

"So we have the ENTIRE day off tommorow then?" Moon said questioningly. "Yep, the entire day. Possibly some time off the next day too," Freddy replied. Sun gasped loudly and dramatically, his eyes widening in excitment. "Do you know what this means!?" Sun said, his voice getting slightly higher from excitment. Freddy looked at him questioningly and Moon prayed he was wrong about he thought Sun's idea was. "WE COULD HAVE A SLUMBER PARTYYY!!!!!!" Sun squealed, jumping up and down and clapping, the bells on his wrists ringing loudly. "That's a great idea! I'll ask the others if they want to come!" Freddy said, walking off to find the others. Moon groaned. "Why did you want a slumber party? Now we have to clean up everything in a span of like 20 minutes, tops," Moon said. "I can do that!" said Sun, darting off to start cleaning the daycare. "Seriously you expect for us to get ALL OF THIS cleaned in that amount of time?" "You don't have to help Moony I can do it!" Sun exclaimed, carrying a mountain of plushies while struggling not to drop them. "Of course I'm helping you idiot, I just don't think we can clean fast enough," Moon said, starting to tidy up some of the arts and crafts supplies.
