Chapter 17-The daycare attendents

(I'm not an engineer or anything so I know most of this is probably not how robots work sorry.)

There was a sound, something that took a second to understand. He could understand now as the darkness came alive. "Power on," the sound formed into words. Now he understood words. the darkness disapeared. He could see. Above him was a bright light. He could feel, he could move. He moved his head in a direction he labled as left. The light shifted out of his vision and he could now see was behind some type of clear wall. In front of that wall was... a human. It took him a second to put a name to the creature. "Sit up," commanded the human. He processed the words and then moved accordingly. "Look forward," ordered the human, walking to the direction he had ordered him to look. He shifted his vision and saw bright colors. He looked down. He saw his body, with his hands positioned onto his lap. He picked his arms up and flipped them over to try to observe his hands. As he did so there was a jingle. He noticed braclets on his wrists. There were 2 bells on each of them. He poked the bells in facination. They made the same jingle noise. "Ok, so you can definitely move your arms, can you move your legs? Like sit in a crisscross position," The human said, moving a small stick looking item back and forth on a white rectangle thing. He slowly moved his legs towards his chest, then rearranged them into a crisscross position. "Ok, good! Now can you try to speak? Say hi or something," said the human, glancing up from moving its stick across the rectangle. He processed the human's command. He felt an emotion. Confusion? Was that the name to put to it? He didn't understand, was speak what the human was doing? Making noise into words? He wasn't like the human, could he speak like it? He opened his mouth to attempt to speak. "Hhhh hi... or... something," He said, copying the noise of the human. "Hmmm... was that a joke?" Asked the human. He was confused. He didn't know that word. "J... joke?" He echoed, hoping for the human to explain. "Ok, so I guess some info is missing... Wait, do you feel like someone else is in... your mind I guess?" The human asked, with a slightly concerned look. In his mind? At first he didn't understand, but then he realized there was another presence. But this one was... diffrent. It was how he had been before. Dark and silent. Then he understood. It had not been activated with him. "Yes, but it's not... awake," He explained. The human cursed, then opened a door in the clear wall and ran out. "Language!" He said instinctively. "What!?" said the human. "Bad word... You said a bad word," He explained. The human paused. "It seems like your programming may be loading... But Moon's ai never powered on," The human reported, staring intently at a glowing box. "Moon? Is that the other one's name?" He asked. "Yes, and your name is Sun," said the human, hitting small buttons on a rectangle that seemed to be connected to the glowing box. "Sun," echoed the animatronic. "I'm gonna try to turn his ai on, if this doesn't work I'll have to turn the lights off and do it manually," explained the human. "Why turn the lights off?" Asked Sun. "Because you are light activated, when the lights are on, you have control and when the lights are off, Moon has control. "There, his ai should ativate now," said the human, hitting one final button. Sun felt a whirr inside of him, and the other presence, Moon, as the human called him, started to wake. "I actually have to turn the lights off anyway, Moon needs to do the same tests you did," said the human, flicking a small lever. Sun was pushed back into darkness. Then the darkness flicked out, and the world was now a redish tint. But there was a problem. He couldn't move. "Sit up," said the human. His vision shifted as Moon sat up. Sun noticed immidiantly Moon looked a lot diffrent then him. Instead of yellow and red striped pants he had dark blue pants with bright yellow spiky spots. His shoes and braclets were mostly the same, with the only diffrence being the symbol on their shoes were diffrent.

"Can you move your arms and legs?" asked the human, grabbing its stick and rectangle again. Moon responded immediantly. He crossed his arms and legs and glared at the human. "Ok, movement and attitude," commented the human, writing something down on its notepad. "Can you speak?" It asked. "What do you think? You built me," snapped Moon. 'Don't be so mean! >:(' said a voice in Moon's mind. "It's just a test, jeez," said the human. "What was that?" Moon asked, looking for the source of the voice. "What was what?" The human asked in confusion. "Didn't you hear that? There was a voice," said Moon. "Oh, that must be Sun talking to you. You might have diffrent ais, but since you guys are in the same body and switch control of it, you can hear each other's thoughts," explained the human. "That's gonna be annoying," said Moon. 'we can be best friends! :3' chirped Sun in his mind. "Ughhh.." Groaned Moon. "Ok, so you are done with your tests and your good. But first before you go, I wanna fix Sun's ai, it's loading slow, I was gonna try to speed that up. So I'm gonna turn the lights back on," It announced, flicking the lightswitch. Moon was thrown back into the darkness, but the darkness quickly cleared as Sun opened his eyes. "Ok, so this may be slightly overwhelming since your powered on. Moon already downloaded information but you kind of stopped and didn't get much," explained the human. "Information?" Sun asked. "Information about the world, like for example try to name things around you," The human said. Sun paused and looked around. He begun pointing to things in the room. "Clear wall, light, stick-" Sun started. "This is a pen," corrected the human. "Oh, sorry," said Sun. "No, you don't need to apologize, you didn't download the information so you wouldn't know that," Said the human, walking to the glowing box. "I'm going to download the information now, this took Moon about 5 minutes, it may take you a bit more since your powered on. Maybe close your eyes and just stay calm.

"Ok, the download's done you can go to the daycare now, some staff bots can escort you," said the human. Sun stood up carefully and walked out of the cylinder. He was surprised he could now put a name to everything he could see. 'Computer, keyboard, floor, ceiling, technician, notepad, pen-' Sun's facinated thoughts were cut off by Moon. 'Would you shut it, it's not that amazing,' thought Moon sourly. 'Sorry! I just didn't know what any of this was until now!' Sun thought excitedly. "The staff bots are here, the daycare opens at 8 tommorow, good luck!" said the human. "Oh! Thank you!" said Sun, snapping out of his trance. He skipped to the entrance. Two staff bots were stationed at the door side by side, they watched as Sun skipped towards them. "Hi! I'm Sun, nice to meet you!" Said Sun to the bots. "Please take this map," said both of the bots, simultaneously holding a map to Sun. The bots both cast a side glare at each other. Then they both wacked the map out of each other's hand. "Hey, no fighting, that's not nice!" Said Sun, positioning himself inbeween the mapbots. "Map," said both the bots, once again holding up their maps. "Thank you!" said Sun enthusiastically, taking both maps. "Now me and Moon both have a map! Ooh, we can customize them!" Sun chirped. 'We only need one map, you idiot,' Moon said in his mind. 'Well if you wanna share them then one can be a back-up!' Thought Sun. "Map! map!" said the map bots, darting forward and glancing back at Sun. "Oh sorry, I'm coming!" said Sun, skipping after the two bots.

Soon the map bots stopped at two huge doors. "Is this it?" Sun asked. The bots nodded. Sun opened the doors. Behind them was a big colorful room, it had cushion floors, giant playsets, a giant ballpit, small tables with small chairs, and a cut-out tower on the wall. It was childhood heaven. "Woah!" exclaimed Sun in amazement. 'It's too colorful,' Thought Moon. "Map!" Chirped one of the mapbots. Sun turned to them and the other bot pointed to a ladder on the side of the cardboard tower. It lead up to some type of balcony. "Is that our room?" Sun asked. The bots nodded and then waved as they departed. "Bye! Thank you!" Said Sun. 'So this is where were gonna be working Moony!' Thought Sun enthusiastically. '...Moony?' Thought Moon. 'Yep, that's your new nickname :3' Thought Sun. 'Never call me that again,' thought Moon. Sun skipped over to the ladder and climbed up it. It lead to a balcony which was connected to a room. Inside was two short sets of stairs that lead to a room. The room was very bland, having a wooden floor with beige walls and a neat bed with yellow covers. It also had a tube tunnel in one of the walls. As Sun crawled through it, it became darker and then Moon was in control. Through the tunnel was another room. It was slightly smaller and a lot darker. It looked mostly the same except it had a dark blue bed. 'So I'm guessing the other room is yours and this ones mine,' thought Moon. 'Cool!' Thought Sun. Moon flopped down on the bed. 'So what now?' thought Moon boredly. 'Ooh, I have an idea! What if I make puppets so I can put on a puppet show for the kids! I know there's paint and glue and googly eyes in the daycare, but we're gonna need some socks...' Thought Sun. 'Puppets? Are you serious?' Thought Moon. 'Of course! Children love puppet shows!' Thought Sun. "Ughhh...." Moon groaned. 'Welll since we don't have any socks to make puppets with, how about for now we get to know to each other better!' Thought Sun. 'Yeah I'll pass. I can already tell your a nuisance,' Thought Moon. 'Oh...' Thought Sun disapointedly.

"OH DEAR, OH DEAR, OH DEAR, OH DEAR!!! WHAT IF WE RUN OUT OF ART SUPPLIES!!?? WHAT IF WE RUN OUT OF SNACKS??!! WHAT IF ONE OF THE KIDS DOESN'T LIKE THE SNACKS??!! WHAT IF THE KIDS DON"T LIKE ME??!!! WHAT IF I'M A BAD DAYCARE ATTENDENT??!! WHAT IF-" Sun rambled on in panic. 'OH MY GOD SHUT UP.' Thought Moon. "But.. but what if-" Sun started. 'You'll be fine, just calm the (heck) down.' Moon thought. "Language >:(" Said Sun. Suddenly the doors opened. Sun froze. A human wearing a fazbear staff uniform came through the door. "Oh, hello! Do you work here too!?" Sun asked entusiastically. "Yep, I work at the desk over there, I do all the paperwork and stuff," Said the human. "Cool! So when will the children get here?" Sun asked.

(A/N: So the next chapter is probably gonna take forever because 1. school and 2. possibly lack of motivation and 3 I honestly don't have a clear idea for the next chapter so there is a good chance it will be chaotic.)
