His eyes search mine and his pink lips lift a little into a small smirk.

I can stare at his smirk for days.

"Xavier Coleman and you?" His deep voice snaps me out my gawk session.

"Oh uh, sorry, Sophia Hart." I say flushing because I caught my self checking him out.

He raises his big hand in my direction and I slip my hand in it still staring at him.

My hand just stays there for few moments until I notice he start to move his up and down and I shake his warm hand back.

"How about we take this to my office?" He suggest leading to the elevator.

Olivia!

"Oh um, sure just can I make quick phone call in there?" I ask.

He nods as we step in the elevator. He presses the 28th level as I pressed the numbers to Olivia's cell.

On the first ring she greets, "SOPH WHERE ARE YOU?! I'm freaking out! What if I don't make it?! My soon to be boss disappeared! AND IM THE NEXT ONE UP! I CAN'T BRE-"

I set the phone away from my ear and glance a Mr. Coleman who looked amused at the situation and was tried to smile.

"AND I FORGOT EAT MY BANANA THIS MORNING LIKE I PROMISED YOU. Wait, SOPH? Soph? Are you okay? You did get caught by fans? Did that snobby lady tell you do get out? I NEED YOU DONT DIE." She still goes on.

The elevator door opens and the ding sound stops her rant.

"Wait Sophie where are you?"

"Elevator, so what this thing about dying again?" I say.

"Oh yea where are you? Whenever Mr. Coleman gets back I'm next and you have yet to show up. I need a pep talk."

"Don't worry Liv, I'll be there." I say as we step out.

"Okay, you better.."

I laugh and hang up and take in the scene in front me.

"Woah!" The elevator opened straight to huge room, almost the size of a penthouse. Black and White furniture scattered the room and a few papers were scattered across the lounge table.

He gesture for me to walk in and sit in a chair in front his desk.

"So I'm guessing the reason your here is to help your friend?" His deep voice fills my ears.

"Yea, Olivia, she's here for a job and she wanted me to give her pointers before I head out to the studio."

He nods then pauses, "studio?" He quizzes. His confused face is to die for.

I stop myself. He doesn't know who I am.

I can literally feel face brighten.

"Oh my goodness you don't know who I am!" I excitedly say jumping from the chair.

His eyebrows rose then furrowed back into confusion.

"No, I do not, but why are you so excited?" He asks.

I sigh not really wanting to go down that road.

I frown and look at my sandals twiddling my thumbs on the desk.

"I've been used many of times, let just say that. I don't want to turn into an emotion mess. Even though I don't know you. Why would I tell a stranger my demons. I mean I guess I can't tell anyone about them. They won't understand. I guess that's why I write songs. But you seem understanding. But no I can't give in easily. I'm sorry." I say after I ramble.

When you hold things inside in a vulnerable state, things slip out.

His green eyes show emotion from sorrow to anger to excitement.

"Hey, it's okay, I'm not going to judge you anyway. But your right, you don't know me, neither do I know you," he states standing from his stair to walk towards my chair.

His eyes light up again as he extends his hand.

"But we should change that." He grins. His smile is contagious that I can't help but smile back and grab his hand and stand up.

He guides me closer to him and he places his hand on my back and grabs a sheet of paper and a pencil.

"Write your number here" he says. I lean over to scribble multiple phone numbers on the phone.

Okay I'm not desperate. I just have a lot of areas I could be.

"I'll text you or call you later, ok?" He says look down into by brown eyes.

"Ok, as much as I would love to chat my darlings Liv, is anxious to see me, well us. And I have a few recording to get to." I says.

He sighs, "I know, but hey, Olivia will be just fine. I'm a nice guy!" He says cheekily.

I laugh and I grab my purse.

"Walk me to her?" I suggested. He shrugs and lead me out the door.

I walk into a to similar to a waiting room. I immediately blonde friend nervously bouncing her leg. Her hazel eyes raise to see me and fill with excitement.

"Sophie!" She shouts running towards me. She wraps her arms around me in a lung popping hug.

She lets go and she glances behind me and she goes rigid.

" oh hi Mr. Coleman." She says.

"Hello, Miss Olivia," he says.

"Well, I'll be on my way, good luck Liv!" I say hugging her one last time.

I turn around a see Mr. Coleman gesturing Olivia to the office.

He looks down at me as she walked in.

"It was nice meeting you Sophia," his just voice says quietly.

"My pleasure Mr. Coleman." I smile at him.

He grins back and leads me to the elevator door and bend down in my ear.

"I'll text or call you later." He says.

"Okay." I say as his lingering scent along my neck fall into my memory.

My heart can't help but grin.
