April Fools Revenge

Happy April Fools Day!

It was April 1st Racetack's favorite day of the year. Of course, he had to dodge "pranks" while he stood in line for papes, but that was all part of the fun.

"You excited for today?" Racetrack asked Davey and Jack.

"You two better not try and prank me" Davey warned them.

"Oh come on Davey where's your pranking spirit?" Racetrack laughed at him.

"Me and Jack always team up to prank everyone every year. You can become less of a victim if you join us?" Racetrack offered Davey.

"Actually Race, I ain't feeling much in the pranking spirit either" 

Jack had been in low spirits since his and Sarah's "breakup" They broke up and got back together more times than Racetrack could count.

Jack got his papes and sat down to look through them.

"You too are buzzkills. come on it's April fools you fools!" Racetrack told them angrily before taking his papes and heading a bit farther in line to talk to Albert.

"Jacks bailing on me, wanna be my partner in crime this year?" He asked Albert.

"Sorry, I'm busy today, got a date," Albert said sadly.

"Fine definitely just a prank but whatever, I need to find the perfect way to get back at Jack and Davey got any ideas?"

Albert rolled his eyes and thought for a minute.

"Nah that's too evil..." Albert muttered out loud.

"Wait what is it?"

"Well, you convince them you and Sarah are dating and that'd kill two birds with one stone" Albert shrugged.

"No that's perfect!" Racetrack loved the idea.

"Well, how would you do that, they know Sarah wouldn't date you in a million years?" Albert shot him back with an evil smirk.

Racetrack wrinkled his nose.

"What's that supposed to mean, I'd be an upgrade from Jack" Racetrack defended himself.

Albert shrugged.

"you do have a point I need proof rather than just tell them we are?" Racetrack admitted.

"I'll go talk to Sarah!" Racetrack took his papes and ran towards the gate.

"That's not what I meant race that's a very bad idea!" Albert yelled after him.

Racetrack finally got to the Jacobs house, he just hoped Sarah answered the door so he wouldn't have to explain to her parents why he was there. He knocked on the door saying a quick prayer asking for Sarah to be the one to open the door, to his relief his prayer was answered so he said a quick thank you to God before asking her.

"Can we talk alone?" He asked Sarah.

"Yeah sure," She walked out into the hallway with Racetrack.

"So I have a brilliant way to get back at Jack and Davey but I need your help?"

"Sure I'm in, what do I need to do?" She asked before Racetrack had finished.

"Oh well that's the thing if it's too weird I understand but how do you think Davey and Jack would react to us as a couple?" He asked her realizing how stupid he sounded.

She thought for a moment.

"Not great why?" She asked uncomfortably.

"Well I figured for April fools we could pretend to be a couple and mess with them?" Racetrack asked her.
