"Did you tell him?"

School was over, with no band practice that day, meaning Mo and I were hanging out in my room.

"No, I couldn't," sighed Mo, running her fingers along the edge of my tie-dyed carpet.

"You're just going to let him believe that you still love him?"

"Yeah, I guess," sighed Mo. "What is there to do, Stella? He says that he loves me. Like, seriously. He says it all the time."

"Well, then maybe I should step in. As tempting as it is to let you work this out on your own, I don't think you're getting the gist of this."

"Stella, no! Please..."

"I'd only let you do this yourself if you knew what you were doing, but you seem like you really don't."

"Please?!? Just give me one more chance, Stell."

"I mean -"

"Think about it. I love you, uh, because you're a really good friend of mine, after all. You have to face, though, that you get really fired up about things, then completely lose your head if things aren't working out."

"I don't - never mind. Thanks for the honesty, but just trust me on this one."

"I'm sorry, but I'll do this myself, thanks."

And with that, Mo left before I could say anything.

I fumed silently. She thinks she knows what's good for her? I'll show her what I'm made of!

So, I called Wen and Olivia, and waited for them to pick up.
