Leaf boy's point of view
TW: descriptions of blood and gore

the light from my laptop lit up the room and shined in my eyes brightly, I only realized what time it was when my friend texted me that I should be getting to sleep because we have a big writing test tomorrow. My eyes were kind of burning from the brightness of the screen that I wasn't able to lower.

I closed the laptop and put it on my charger before grabbing my phone and scrolling through twitter drama that was happening at the time.

It was really stupid drama.

I don't know what time I passed out but I eventually did

--6:10am.--

I was awoken to my alarm

"another day of hell."

I think to myself as a I roll myself out of bed, I look in the mirror before doing anything. I look like shit, my hair was messed up and there were big bags under my eyes making me look like I hadn't slept in years.

I stare at myself for a few more moments. I already want to start crying. I look just so fucking useless, standing there.

I bite my lip, I want to start punching my mirror, I imagine the feeling of the glass seeping into my fist and the blood running down it. but I don't, instead I walk away from the mirror and put on the clothes I'm going to wear for the day. I was too tired to shower at the time

---

I stand there for a minute, I thought about the boy from yesterday.

"why would he want to be see with someone as weird looking as me? and why did I warm up to him so quickly?"

The sound of my parents arguing brings me back to reality from my thoughts, my bag was on my desk and I shoved the things I had left out back into it and run down stairs.

I put my shoes on and grab my keys and rush out the door to avoid my parents trying to bring me into their argument

---

I get on the bus and I spot the blue boy from yesterday waving at me, patting the spot next to him that was open.

I walked over to him and sat down next to him

"Leaf boy!"

he wrapped an arm around me when I sat down.

"you dropped your notebook when you were leaving yesterday so I put it in my bag to keep it safe!"

the boy gave me a wide, toothy, and child-like grin before he unwrapped his arm from around my shoulders and picked his bag up from the floor in front of him and pulled out my note book.

he handed it to me and I ssmiled

"don't worry, I didn't look in it."

he said before I put it in my bag.

"I didn't get the chance to ask yesterday, but could I possibly get your number? or discord if you have it!"
