Today was the day the day of the chunin exams, everyone was training hard and none stop in order to have the honor of becoming chunin

We see team 7 walking to room 301 to participate in the chunin exams, as they walked by they saw multiple teams standing in front of a door being blocked by two chunin "look we're doing you guys a favor, the chunin exams are not to be taken lightly" one of them said

"Hey isn't that Izumo and Koetsu" Mito said to her teammates "yep, its a simple genjutsu to weed out the weak ones" Naruto said "come on let's go" Sasuke said as they climbed up the stairs

As they were walking a boy with a bowl cut hairstyle and green spandex walked up to the team with enthusiasm, he walked up to Sakura "hello there I'm Rock Lee, would you like to go on a date with me" he yelled "um no thank you" Sakura said politely "ok" he said a bit disappointedly "hey you" one of his teammates said, he had long black hair tied at the bottom and white eyes with no pupils "yeah" Sasuke said coolly "what's your name?" he asked "none of your business" Sasuke replied smugly "so you are this year's rookie of the year" he said, "yeah what of it" Sasuke retorted

"Stop trying to play itachi Sasuke" Naruto said "but I sound so cool" Sasuke whined "come on Sasuke, let's go" Naruto said "fine" Sasuke huffed walking with naruto and the team "come on Lee let's go" a girl with brown hair said "you guys go ahead, I want to test something" Lee said running up to team 7

"Hey you, Uchiha Sasuke, I want you to fight me" he said "why?" Sauske said raising an eyebrow, "because, I want to test my strength, I am currently the strongest genin here" Lee said, Sasuke shrugged and followed Lee "don't you think you should stop them" Sakura said looking at naruto "nah, let them go at it, besides I'm bored as heck" Naruto said following the two genin

"Alright let us begin" Lee said, Sasuke nodded, Lee got in a taijutsu stance and lunged forward, the two exchanged blows with Lee having the advantage due to his enhanced speed, Sasuke tried to punch Lee but was blocked and got a punch in the stomach and stumbled back 'wow this guy's hits really packs a punch, I guess I'll have to use this' Sasuke thought

"Wow, that guys really holding his own without even using jutsu" Mito said in awe "its not like he has a choice" Naruto said "what do you mean?" Nemma asked "he's the student of Kaka-nii's 'Eternal rival' Might Gai, who is a taijutsu master, also he can't mold chakra at all" Naruto said, his last sentence shocked his teammates "he can't" Sakura said "yeah, his chakra pools are too small" Naruto said "how do you know so much about Lee" Neji said "Kaka-nii is a rival of Gai, and besides I have a lot of respect for them both, he and his sensei are living proof that hard work beats genius" Naruto said

Sasuke closed his eyes and opened them again revealing his two tamoed sharingan "the sharingan" Lee whispered but did not falter "no matter, I will still win" he said and leapt forward with an onslaught of kicks and punches, Sasuke managed to block some of them and managed to hold his own 'sorry Gai-sensei, I have to use it' Lee thought

"shadow of the dancing-" "stop" Sasuke said interrupting Lee "I give" Sasuke finally said deactivating his sharingan and dusting himself off "what, why?" Lee asked confused "what ever technique you are planing to do is way to powerful, besides, this isn't the real thing so why waste time" Sasuke shrugged "well said Sasuke, let's go" Naruto said, walking ahead while Sasuke followed along with the team

Few minutes later they reached room 301 and met kakashi standing in front of the door "oh Kakashi-sensei, what are you doing here" Sakura asked "well I came to see my cute little genin off to the chunin exams, I see you are all here" Kakashi said eye smiling "well go in" he said shifting for them to enter
