Ishina Senju Uzamaki

Chapter 7 : The Promised Pendant

Ishina stared at the stars from her open porch, thinking about what would her life be if her parents were alive.
Being one of the last of the Senju Clan was very lonely.

Ishina didn't allow anyone to enter the Senju Clan's Residence.
Noone was likely to enter since a barrier was put by her Great-grandfather Hashirama to avoid unwanted guests.

Ishina walked the small stairs leading to the grassy ground and started stretching. She always do this when she felt lonely. She was the only one in the house.

She wanted Naruto to live with her but Danzo would not allow it, since Naruto was not a direct descendant of the Senju clan.

Ishina looked at the stars in the sky and she remembered her incounter with the Suna boy who she recognized as Gaara, she meet 2 years ago.
Ishina couldn't remember the details of the mission , but she never forgotten about their talk about how it was not their choice.

After she finished stretching , she went inside making sure she closed the doors and she went to sleep.

With Temari :

Temari arrived at their room and both her siblings looked at her.

"Where have you been?" Garaa said in a stern voice, which made Temari stiffen.

"I meet up with the girl we meet today. " Temari said.

"Don't forget why we're here." Garaa said and took a sit on a couch.

Temari looked at her brother and shifted her eyes. Debating whether she'd tell him about the pendant he always had.
She took the risk and asked.

"That pendant you have..."

Kankuro looked at her with a terrified face , scared what would happen to her for interfering with Garaa's bussiness.

"What about it?" Garaa coldly said. He glared at her and waited for her to continue.

" It had the same symbol of the Uzamaki Clan ,....and I asked Ishina if her clan thought of making a pendant with their symbol---..." Temari was sweating and looked at Garaa.

Garaa didn't do anything and waited for her to continue.

" She said that her clan already had pendants with their clan symbol. Its mostly passed to the next generation. And some gave it to an outsider of the clan as a symbol of a promise...be it about friendship or about love...they also use is as a proposal for marriage." Temari explained.

She looked at Garaa, but he seemed to be deep in thought.

"Then if you'll excuse me ." Temari started to walked to her room.

"Wait." Garaa suddenly said and Temari turned around.

" Is it true?" Garaa seriously said.

Temari nodded and went to her bedroom...her heart beating fast and thankful she was able to live another day.

A few days later...many Genins were training around Konoha for the upcoming Chunnin exam.

Ishina saw some of her friends training while she was just walking around.
Ibiki didn't say anything to her and just remind her to be calm and relax all the time.
Ibiki also told her that she was already a Jonin and she only had to pretend to take the exam.

She was curious since Ibiki told her that he would have a surprise for her at the exam .

She returned to her spot near the river. She was bringing a basket with her since she planned to have a picnic.
She lay her blanket on the grass and sat in the middle.

She looked at the basket and took out some tea that she prepared and some desserts.
There were hanami dango and some fruit sandwich.

She started eating her dango and enjoyed the peacefulness.

Their were some villagers passing and would murmur. Not knowing that she hears their every word.

Look at her...eating while the others are training.

She probably thinks she's great since she is a Senju.

Hah? She made her father kill himself cause she killed her mother.

How unfortunate...her parents were one of the best ninjas Konoha had...it's a shame they died because of her.

She can't even do a simple jutsu.

But surprisingly she passed...she was not part of a team though.

Noone probably wants her in their team.

She probably used her connection as a Senju to become Genin.

Those are what she would always hear.
The murmurs were one of the reason why she put on a mask covering her mouth and nose .
She closed her eyes and sighed.
Ignoring everything around her.

With the Sunagakure siblings:

They were walking to find a place to train themselves.
It was silent between the three.
Temari told them about the clearing near the river where she talked with Ishina. Is was mostly secluded and less people walked around there and also because it was quiet.

The two boys followed Temari towards the location but there was a crowd.

They looked at the place and they saw a long red haired girl sitting there and by the looks of it, she was having a picnic.
Ishina was just relaxing her day.
Temari wanted to laugh but stoped herself.

There were many people there suddenly so they started walking away when they heard some of the crowd's murmurs.

Look at her...eating while the others are training.

She probably thinks she's great since she is a Senju.

She looked at Garaa, but he looked pissed by the crowds words.
He started moving his sand but Temari spoke.

"Let them be Garaa...look." She pointed at Ishina.

"She's not even bothered by it, she doesn't even care about their opinions. She knows she's strong."

Garaa calmed down and looked at Ishina softly.

Temari then stared at Kankuro and he got the message.

"Yeah...she's strong, by arm would have been broken if she was serious or I might not be here standing." Kankuro said.

Garaa turned his head and walked away. Not after he take a last glance at her, she suddenly looked at his direction and they looked eyes, he just turned away and started walking . His siblings followed him... Temari was smiling at how Garaa cared for the girl and how he looked at her softly.
They walked away and looked for another place for their training.

With Ishina :

Ishina noticed a familiar presence and looked at the direction of the person. She didn't expect him of all people. She looked at a pale blue-green eyes which she recognized as Garaa's eye color. He then looked away and started looking, followed by his siblings.

She smiled at herself and continued eating.

The villagers doesn't know how much hate was inside of her. She loath them. The people who know nothing but just judge others life to make themselves feel good. She wanted to kill them, but she promised Hiruzen that she won't kill anyone in the village.

She sometimes think about how many villagers would be left already if she did kill those who wronged her.
