Chapter 1: My Wish

Asami POV:

"Tell me M'lady..." I trailed "What is your wish?"

"Asami..." My eve breath out "I wish for you--"

"NO!!!" I shouted

"Asami...P-please..." she said smiling sadly which broke my heart

I have served her since she was an infant and before her. No screw that! I served her whole family for decades now...

"Then I shall ask again, what is your wish?" I asked as she smiled once again

"Asami, I wish for your and my daughters happiness, safety and protection from any harm as well as my husband's..." she said "...And I also wish for your freedom"

"...As you wish M'lady" I said as I bowed down, my right arm in front of me while my left arm was in my back. I rose up and snapped my fingers as lights and snowflakes illuminated the room

She smiled once again as she hand me a bundle and inside the bundle, was a new born baby, sleeping so soundly

"Asami, please don't cry" the mother of the baby I'm currently holding smiled

"M'lady" I muttered

"Asami can I ask you something and this is not a wish but a favor" she said

"What is it?" I asked as I bit my bottom lip holding in my cry that wants to be out

"C-Can you call me b-by m-my n-name?" she said slowly

"Okay. I understand M'l-no Akira" she smiled widely while her eyes were closed

"Arigato Asami(Thank you Asami)" Akira said "...For everything..." and with that my Eve, Akatsuki Akira passed away, she knew the consequences, she could have wished for eternal life and stay by her daughter but she didn't. I still don't understand human emotions, my previous Eve's all asked the same, my happiness, their child or children's happiness, health and protection...But, Akira wished for my freedom? While it's true that I've served the Akatsuki family for decades I never had the chance to explore the world and I can only do it with my Eve's permission

"Really Akira you're really too kind" I mumbled as the small bundle in my arms started to wake up and as it opened its eyes, she cried

"Shh...Please don't be sad" I said softly and sniffles came after and small giggles and then she touched my cheek as I smiled just then the door opened

"Asami-chan..." my subclass muttered sadly

"It's okay Euphe" I said "Where's the Lord?" I asked and as if on cue he appeared

"Akira..." He mumbled as he slowly walked to his wife, who was sleeping soundly, never to be awoken forever "I'm sorry...for coming late!" He cried as he knelt down the floor

"Hiroto-sama" I said and he looked at me with sad eyes. He stood up then faced me

"Asami-nee...." He muttered. He always treated as his sister when I saved him from danger when he was 5. He and Akira were the same age and he served the Akatsuki family as an apprentice to the butler but he and Akira soon fell inlove with each other and Hiroto worked hard so that he can be acknowledge by the Akatsuki family and soon enough he was and the rest is history

I smiled sadly then hand him the small bundle that was in my arms, he held the baby tightly and cried while giving a kiss to the baby's forehead

"Akira's last wish was protection from harm, safety of the family and happiness for you, me and your daughter" I said

He widened his eyes and looked at the baby once again, "Did she decide a name?" He asked as I shook my head "I see"

"Maybe she wanted you to name her" I smiled sadly

"Yeah. Maybe she does" Hiroto said "That's really like her"

"Then what is her name?" I asked

"Himari" Hiroto said "Akatsuki Himari"

"Then...Hiroto-sama, what is your wish?" I said making his eyes wide

"I wish..." He trailed as he took a glance at his daughter "I wish for my daughter's happiness, protection from harm and also for her to follow her heart and have trust in herself"

"As you wish!" I snapped my fingers once again and the same light appeared but instead of snowflakes it was roses

And this is how I, the Servamp of Wishes started a new chapter of a book
