Chapter 9: It's really been a while, hasn't it?

Hikari POV:

It's been a day since we were attacked once again, Himari woke up a day ago. I and her father advised her to rest and not strain herself. But she is as stubborn as her mom when she was her age!

"Himari, for the nth time. YOU.NEED.TO.REST." I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose

"I can't rest, Kari! I need to get more stronger!" she exclaimed in frustration 

"Hima, you're one of the strongest magician I know." I said "You're one of the youngest magician's in C3."

"But I'm still useless and NOT strong enough!!" she said

"Oh, Hima..."

Suddenly, Hiroto (a/n: to those who have forgotten, Hiroto is the first name of Himari's Dad :) )- barged into the room panting. He looked up and hugged Himari, "Dad? What's wrong? You just saw and hugged me tightly yesterday." Himari said

"No. I'm just glad you are safe." Hiroto said

For some reason I sensed something was not right, "Hiroto, what's wrong? Did something happen?" I questioned

"Nee-san...I somehow have a bad feeling going on right now..." Hiroto admitted

"A bad feeling?" Himari questioned "What kind of bad feeling, Dad?"

"I'm not sure but...Mikado called me just a while ago." he said

"Mikado? Alicein Mikado?/Uncle Mikado?" Himari and I said at the same time

"Yeah." Hiroto nodded "He also said that he asks for your presence." he said as he looked at Himari and I

"And what did you say?" I asked

"I told him that I will tell you two about it and let you decide." Hiroto said

"Then, we'll go visit Uncle Mikado tomorrow." Himari said

"Are you sure you really are ok now, Himari?" Hiroto asked his daughter in worry

"Yes, Dad, I am sure." Himari smiled

"Ok. Then I'll inform Mikado about it later. Be careful going tomorrow, okay?" Hiroto said

"Yes, Dad we will." Himari said

I- however, can't help but have the same bad feeling as Hiroto...

|Night time|

We decided to go during the night 'cause Himari and I spent the day at the mall. All we did was play in an arcade, watch a movie in cinema and of course shopping. Well, mostly shopping for clothes, because Himari said as I quote, "I need to change my style of clothing."
