"We didn't kick you out, Liv." Bernie said with an annoyed sigh.
"Really? Then why don't you let me come over anymore? I know you had a party for my child without me there! I told you I wanted to do a small party for Violet with just family, but you took that way from me!" Olivia yelled. She was tired of being treated like she was overreacting.
"We invited you, Olivia!" Bernie yelled back.
"The fuck you did! I didn't get a say at all, and as Violet's mother, it is my right to plan her a party. If I needed help, I would have asked. You keep taking things away from me, and I'm fucking done with it. Get the hell out of my house before you decide this place isn't mine anymore." Olivia growled before she stomped to the front door and swung the door open.
"You aren't mentally okay, Olivia. I am-"
"You know what? I'm going to follow you home so I can grab my daughters. You will not be seeing them until you can get your fucking shit together, Bernie. I'm mentally exhausted, but I am not a fucking control freak!"

Elliot was shocked when his wife walked into the house and quickly gathered the girls' items.
"Liv, what are you doing here?" Elliot asked, and Olivia turned to him as hot tears slipped down her cheeks.
"Your mother was going to take the girls from me. She said that I wasn't mentally okay. She keeps gaslighting me, and I'm done with it. So these girls are going home with me, and they are never coming back here."
"Liv-"
"Don't tell me that I'm just imagining this, El. I'm not. I know that I'm not." Olivia breathed.
"I'm coming with you." Elliot spoke.
"W-what?" Olivia breathed.
"We are going to be having our third child, Liv. I'm not letting you be alone during this. So I'm coming with you. Let's pack up the stuff for the girls, then I'll do my stuff. I'll be home by bedtime." Elliot smiled.
Olivia let out a sigh of relief before leaning forward and kissing her husband softly.
"Thank you, El... I really mean it."
Elliot waited downstairs for his mother to get home, and when she did she was pissed off.
"Where is she?" Bernie hissed.
"She's upstairs getting stuff around for the girls."
"I'm not letting her take them!" Bernie exclaimed.
"You don't have any right to them, Ma! They are our children, and we get to call the shots."
"She's sick!" Bernie yelled.
"No, she isn't. Stop saying those things to her and about her. If you ever want to see Lou, Letty, and our unborn baby... then get your shit together and apologize... and for your information, Liv and I are moving in together. I'm going with her. You can't tell me no, because I'm a grown adult. I'll be out by tonight."

Elliot kept his word, and he showed up at Olivia's house around ten. Olivia answered the door, and tears streamed down her cheeks when she saw her husband.
"Hi."
"Hey, pretty lady." Elliot smiled. He stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Olivia before hugging her tightly to his chest. They stayed in that embrace for a long moment before Elliot leaned back.
"I was getting a little worried that you had changed your mind... the girls are so excited to have you here with us, and I didn't want to break their hearts if this fell through again." Olivia breathed.
"My mom fought me tooth and nail, but I eventually threatened to call the police and tell them that she's holding me hostage. That got her to shut up and let me leave." Elliot said with a weak smile.
"Babe-"
"It wouldn't be a lie, Liv. I may be bi-polar, but I got the all clear from my doctor to move forward in my life. My parents, mostly my mother, however, are controlling. They aren't letting me live my life, and I'm done with that. So from now on, my home is wherever you are."
"Our home may not be here for much longer." Olivia sighed, as she followed her husband towards his truck so they could gather his items.
"What do you mean?" Elliot asked.
"This house is made for three people, El. Now there is four people living here, and if I stay pregnant, five in the near future. It's also too close to your parents, and since I torched that bridge, we don't need to be this close to them anymore."
"I'll get a job and-"
"El, I don't know if you can go back to being an officer." Olivia breathed, and Elliot shrugged as he sat a bag down before moving to Olivia. He placed his hand to her hip and smiled.
"If I can't be a cop anymore, I did go to college. I took all the courses I needed to be a tech like you, or I could go for my law degree. The opportunities are endless."

They moved most of Elliot's stuff into the small house, but kept the rest in Elliot's truck and Olivia's van. Once things had been shoved into any empty space, they settled into bed together. Elliot had missed laying in bed beside Olivia, and Olivia felt the same way.
"This is how everything was meant to be. We are meant to sleep in the same bed together." Elliot yawned, as he ran his fingers through Olivia's hair.
"I just hope you don't change your mind." Olivia whispered.
