A/N: This is an AU, and this is also going to become a series that is going to stay with the current/past origins that everyone has, there will be a  list of who's origins might be different at the end of the chapter, as well as other update things. Also, I changed the AU from chapter, two I think? (The Jizzie One BTW) So it's different, You'll find out later what that means has to do with this.

Enjoy :)

"I miss the beginning. I miss life before. Even if I don't remember, I know it was better."

I know you do, and I've told you before that all you need to do is listen to me. You need to follow my orders to get what you want.

She turned and looked at the thing speaking to her. "But now I can-"

No! That won't solve it!

"Yes, it will. I know it will!  I can work with this! I can-" it cut her off once again.

If you don't want to continue the work I assigned you then so be it! I will leave you and you will be all alone! Would you like that?!

"I-" She paused and thought for a moment. She wouldn't be alone. She had someone who wanted to be friends with her. Surely.

Those others only like you because you have common interests! They don't really like you. They only like you because they need your help. They'll never like you truly.

"Yes. They do like me. They're my friends. They will stand by me no matter what. I know it." she said with her newfound confidence, "I know they will. And you know what? I don't need you! I never needed you. You're only here because of what happened all that time ago! This time I chose you to make my own choices."

Well then... Don't come crying when all for them reject you.

"Shelby?" The Scottish vampire opened the door of his manor and looked at her with raised eyebrows and a judgmental expression as always. Shelby had awoken, which she had found strange as she didn't remember ever falling asleep, and immediately gone to Scott's.

She didn't remember why she had gone to Scott or what she had dreamed of, but she just knew she wanted to go and see him.

"Scott, hi." She was panting and out of breath from running. On her way over it had become significantly warmer. she had no clue why, it wasn't daytime, or she wouldn't be outside, right?

"What are you wearing?" Scott's blood-red eyes scanned Shelby but mainly looked at her face.

"I don't look different what do you mean? Also, why is it so hot outside? It's only early spring, the nights are never this hot in spring!" She pushed her way inside, past Scott, and after looking at the cold looking chairs across the room and instead chose to sit down on the floor.

"Shelby, it's like, noon." Scott closed the door and sat down next to her, "And why exactly are you wearing a pumpkin?"

"A pumpkin?" Shelby felt on her head and realised, that indeed, she did have a pumpkin on her head. "I forgot I guess?"

"Okay one, how do you forget about a pumpkin that's on your head? If it was for the sunlight, then you can take it off now, it's pretty dark in here," Shelby gladly took it off and placed it on the floor next to her. She didn't know why but she really expected some shift in her vision, but nope the emo looking house stayed gloomy as ever.

She liked the gloom and darkness though. Right?

Shelby hadn't realised how weird the pumpkin smelled up until that point. How the heck did Lizzie use these all the time? Maybe some flower smelling things or something.
