Tsukasa still didn't know what was bothering Rui. Rui really had seemed off that entire week and the week before that... "If only if I could read minds!" Tsukasa said to himself in his head. Maybe if he asked Emu or Nene. Maybe they would know!
・・・ The day after everyone was done at the stage and Rui had left, Tsukasa went up to Nene and asked, "Do you know what's wrong with Rui at all, Nene? He's been acting kind of weird lately..." Nene didn't know how to respond to that. She wanted to keep the secret but it was hard with Tsukasa asking about it right in front of her without anyone else there to answer for her... So Nene then just said, "It's probably just something personal... Maybe you shouldn't bother Rui about it." Then Tsukasa just nodded with a frown and walked away.
"What about Emu?" Tsukasa wondered, "She might know!" Tsukasa then went over to Emu who was just about to leave and said, "Hey, Emu! Do you know anything about why Rui had been acting so weird lately?" Emu had the same kind of reaction as Nene did and said, "Uhm... Well maybe something happened? I don't know!" Emu said that kind of nervously, but not enough to notice that she was nervous when saying it. She really didn't want to hurt Rui by telling Tsukasa the truth... Tsukasa frowned and walked away from Emu. Emu felt bad, but knew that she had to keep her promise!
Tsukasa left Phoenix Wonderland without an answer or any real clue to what was going on with Rui. He almost felt disappointed in himself... Then he had an idea! What if Rui was bothered because he had liked someone?
