RACHEL

As studying my brains out, I see Abby getting ready for a party which of course it's tonight but it's nothing new every night to whom drinks and party all night. Abby looks at herself in the mirror then sees me behind her on the bed and studying, without paying attention to anything else.

"Rachel, why are you studying on a Sunday night and wearing those dead-ass ugly pajamas?" She questions her choice of clothing and school habits.

"Why should I go partying when there's lots of studying I need to do and it's Sunday," I say as I stack up against my work together and go by the desk. Abby follows me with a convincing smile, "Please. Come with me. You probably know the school already" she begs me, batting her lengthy, black eyelashes and resting her hands on my shoulders.

I take some time to think while Abby goes to her side of the closet to pick out a dark navy lace-sleeved dress for me. Then grab some nude heels with a nude bra that looks like it can't even hold up anything;I glance over at Abby to spot a cheery smile on her face.

I roll my head around, "Fine. I'll come with only two conditions; One drink for me and I'm not wearing those heels." I point at the shoes, "They look like I can break my neck." I continue to admit from the length of the heel. As I walk over to Abby and takes the dress and horrible shoes; Abby claps her hands together, "Great, okay with the heels. I can find other ones instead of you wearing those gross-looking sneakers you decide to wear every day." she says finding soiled heels that are better.

At that moment, I smile while taking off my clothes to place on the outfit, "Do I look okay?" I wonder as to fixing the dress's sleeves. Abby holds a finger to offer her a minute to finish putting on makeup but partially dark eyeshadow.

Once her makeup is dark enough to see her black eyes barely, she turns around to get a look at me and forms 'o'.

"Girl, you look smokin' hot!" "Is there something wrong?" Abby informs her as she fixes her curly hair.

I shakes my head back and forth to decide if I request her to my makeup, "It's nothing but wondering if you could do my makeup," I ask her since she wants to look nice since my makeup routine is simple

Before answering, Abby grabs a bag filled with different types of beauty products in all sorts of colors, "I would love to do that." she squeals in excitement as she leads me to the bed.

After fifteen minutes of telling Abby not so much eyeshadow, she ignores it a little while sweeping on a smoky gray color on the lids and black liner. When she's finished with my new look, I glance in the mirror.

"Once again, you look smoking hot!" Abby says as snapping her fingers in a zig-zag way makes me smile but doesn't take the comment lightly because I don't hear those comments or remarks a lot from the way I dress in baggy clothes to cover up my shape.

Then there's a sound of a text message coming from Abby's phone, and it reads, "Babe? Are you girls finally ready?" her boyfriend Clay asks and brags through the phone.

She texts him back and tells Rachel, "I almost forgot that Clay is picking us up since the party is at his dorm building."

Okay. Where's that exactly?

At the Franklin Building.

From hearing that's at the Franklin Building, my eyes bug out a little because I know that's where Ezra lives and will probably be there.

"Okay," I nervously says.

While walking outside towards the car, Abby skips to the car's passenger door, unlocks it, and pulls down the seat for me to sit in the back. Once settling down in the back, I notice a guy next to he's wearing all black clothing but smells a delightful mixture of wood and citrus cologne that he looks familiar with. But it's Ezra.

Ezra feels someone staring at him and turns his head, "What? " He says in an insured tone, "Hey Ezra," I cheerfully says, but he doesn't say anything, so I ignore him for the rest of the night.
