I just woke up because my phone keeps ringing. I groaned when I pick it up to answer without looking at the caller's name.

'Ugh, what is it?' I said. I stood up from my bed and yawned. I just want to sleep.

'Hmm, did I woke you up?' It was Shelly's calm voice that answered. I went to the bathroom, still have the phone with me while doing my routine.

'What's going on, Shelly.' I replied, not really in the mood for jokes and long talks.

'Well... sorry for waking you up but we're going to pick you up at your house, Okay?' She said.

''Hmm,' I answered just to acknowledge what she said because I was brushing my teeth.

'We'll get there sooner than you think.' Shelly said. I finished brushing and replied when I realized something.

'Who's 'we' are you referring to?' I asked.

'Oh, it's me and Jay. See you, later and just gonna have you get ready.' I was a little surprised but didn't make it a big deal to ask.

'Okay, okay. See you, two.' I said and the call hangs up.

I finish doing everything to keep clean and presentable. I wore my glasses and mask as I went own to the dining room. The maids immediately went to cook for me, some were cleaning the chair and table  I was to sit and eat too.

I waited for them to arrive. It took them a few minutes or so before I heard a maid call me and said that someone is looking for me.

I went out and saw them outside of our house.

"Y/NN~" Shelly yelled while waving at me. Jay who was beside her nodded at me.

The butler went to pick up my bike from the spare room. I walked to the two.

"Where are we going?" I asked them.

"What do you mean? The competition is around the corner, we won't be having our time like this once it started." Shelly said.
The butler went out and held my bike with him. I thanked him when I already had my hands on it which he replied with a bow and left.

The three of us rode our bikes and just enjoyed the scenery and peaceful moment.

It took us a few minutes before we decided to rest for a bit. We went to the side that does not have much building and people around. We are looking to the view of nature and cities. I just sat there because I felt tired.

"I'm going to get a drink, wait for me here," Shelly said to us.

"Let me get them and just stay here with Jay." I stood up.

Shelly giggled, "Pffft... nope just stay here, (Y/N). Okay?" with that, she turn her back and left.

It was just silenced with us two here.

I hear him clear his throat. I looked at him who was still looking down at the scenery.

"So... Jay, this is our first time to actually talk to each other." I started, feeling awkward already.

"Hmm...Yeah." He answered, he glanced at me for a second then turned back to the view down the building. Long silence engulfed us.

"Shelly...she's your girlfriend?" I asked because I just can't take the silence between us. With my question, his eyes stared at me.

"Nope. Well... Is she your girlfriend..?" He also asked me, probably also can't take the silence.

"No.." I said, and I think he understand my situation because we both turn gloomy. I spot our bikes resting in the corner. Jay probably saw my stare and also looked to where am I looking.
