A Future Love Story

Departure

Veta had a boy. He looked just like Trunks, so there was a debate on what his name would be.

"Name him after Trunks!" Bulma suggested.

"No no. He may look like a saiyan now but his tail might be different in their world." Vennesa said.

"Hey!" Trunks shouted. "Veta had him so she'll decide."

Veta looked closely at the infant and smiled.

"Shinron."

"Shinron?" They asked at the same time.

"Yep. I feel that this boy is very special. So, based on this feeling and looks, he's Shinron Trunks Briefs."

"Long name there." Sikia commented from the doorway.

"I like it." Trunks said smiling at his son.

The baby opened his eyes and saw his parents. He giggled as they smiled. There was only one thought going through Trunks' mind:

Welcome to the world, Shinron.

The next day, everyone gathered at Capsule Corp to say goodbye to Trunks and Veta. Everyone saw their newborn son. They all said the same thing:

"He looks just like Trunks, but he might act like you Veta."

After saying goodbye, Trunks and Veta entered the time machine.

"Wait Veta, what about your world?"

"Oh, about that... Our worlds might be mixed once we get back."

"H-how!?"

"I don't know. Ask the demon who killed my parents!"

He rolled his eyes and started the machine. As they left, they waved goodbye while the gang shouted out advice.

"Make those androids pay!"

"Teach Mephilis who's boss!"

"Good luck with Shinron!"

They soon disappeared and returned to their own world.

After exiting the time machine, Trunks headed downstairs to his mother.

"Hey, I'm back."

"Welcome home Trunks."

Veta followed Trunks and hid behind him.

"Who's this?" Bulma asked.

"What's wrong?" he asked Veta.

She just ignored him and stared at Bulma.

"Wait... Veta, is that you?"

"H-how do you know my name?"

"Your mother and I were friends. I saw you when you were a baby. After all, you were born the exact day after Trunks."

Veta walked from behind Trunks. Bulma looked at her and threw herself into Veta's arms. Veta hugged back.

"So how's your mom? And Shadow?"

"M-my parents...are dead..."

"Oh, Veta I'm sorry..."

"It's not your fault. I'm gonna make that demon pay, trust me."

Bulma noticed the baby in Veta's arms.

"What's that?" she asked.

"Mind explaining Trunks?" Veta said smirking.

"We might of sorta slept together and I got her pregnant......"

Bulma was silent for a moment before smiling at the child.

"So what's it's name?"

"Well, it's a boy and it's Shinron T. Briefs."

"T?"

"Trunks."

"Oh."

Trunks noticed something about his son's tail. It no longer looked like a monkey's. It was more of a wolf tail.

"Veta, what happened to him? His tail is..."

"Oh, since he's a Demonic Saiyan his tail can change in certain worlds. In the world we came from, his tail is a saiyan's. In my world, his tail is a wolf's. Since our worlds are joined his tail could be either."

"Um..."

"I know it's confusing but you'll get use to it."

"Heh if you say so." he said scracthing the back of his head.

They all laughed. Now a new life has begun. But now there's just a few problems: the androids, Cell, and Mephilis.
