Micah let out a surprised chuckle, which she shouldn't have because remembering the way Rose interacted with her skirt, it should be a dead giveaway she would pull a heist like this.

"I'm sorry!" She squeaked, "I was just-"

"Getting a new uniform size? Don't worry, me too."

Rose let out a sigh of relief and gave Micah a small smile. She doesn't deal with confrontation well but knowing someone was there for the same reason as her calmed her down.

A moment of awkward silence went by until Micah broke it. "Well, I've spent enough time wearing this so... I'm gonna change."

"Right!"

Micah went behind some large boxes of clothing and slipped out of her skirt and into a nice pair of trousers. There were some deep wrinkles in the pants from being folded inside a box for some time, but they didn't mind.

Meanwhile Rose did the same. But in a tight space between a shelf and a washing machine.

They decided to show each other their new looks. "Now this feels a lot better doesn't it?" Rose exclaimed and pushed off her right foot, doing a smooth twirl.

"Without a doubt." Micah gave a single nod, "And it's also no doubt it's late as hell. We should probably head for our dorms. Wanna walk together?"

"Yeah, I barely made it here on my own. The dark silence makes me uneasy-"

The two then headed for the door. That was until they decided to take with them a couple pairs of the uniform bottoms with them so they won't need to pull something like this again.

The walk back to the dorms was less stealth-like. Instead of slowing their breath and tip-toeing, Rose and Micah started talking and getting to know each other since they will be spending the next few years together.

Turns out Rose is from an extremely rich family with high expectations.

'Like i haven't heard that before.' Micah thought.

Rose's family is well known for the father, Mr. Wines, being a successful lawyer, and the mom, Mrs. Wines, being a great businesswoman and owning several major companies. Long story short, Rose's parents make bank, and want her to carry on that legacy and be just as great.

"I feel like if I were to ask any other kid what they're doing here, I'd get the same response." stated Micah.

"Most likely. Now, what's your family name? I've been to so," Rose really emphasised on the 'so', "many meetings with my mom i know almost every big family."

"Oh. It's 'Arboc'."

Rose paused for a moment, as if browsing through her memory to recall the name. "Arboc...? I've never heard of that name."

Micah started laughing. "Of course you don't, my family isn't exactly drowning in cash."

"Then how did you get into the school?"

The laughing stopped. The question resonated within Micah's mind. 'How did they pay for it?' She repeated the question over and over to herself but couldn't find a way to answer. Both her parents worked a desk job that paid just enough for them to be able to live and they never came back home celebrating their payment.

A quiet "I don't know" was all she could muster.

That's when they found themselves and the entrance to the dorms, and turns out, they are 2 doors away from each other which was pretty convenient.
