Chapter One:
First Day
🐾
It was peaceful. My paws digging into the dirt as I ran through the woods, my dark grey pelt shinning in the sun rays that peeked through the leaves. The birds chirped as they flew around, making everything feel surreal. That was until I heard a howl in the distance. Looking behind me, I saw many golden yellow eyes in pitch black, it was like the woods went into night all of a sudden. I ran faster as I whimpered in fear, I could hear there paws now as they chased me. They were getting closer and closer.
"Daddy!" yelled a little girls voice.
My stomach sank as I skidded to a stop and looked back seeing a girl with long curly blonde hair and bright blue eyes sitting on the grass that was now surrounded by darkness. She wore Frozen pajamas and was crying, her arms reaching towards me. Then I saw a big brown wolf appear from the darkness with fire in it's eyes as it jumped to pounce on... "GALE!!!" I roared.
Beep.
Beep.
Beep.
Beep...
My eyes shot open as I panted, sweat covered my face.
Beep. Beep. Beep...
I reached over and shut my 6:30am alarm off. Sitting up, I used my navy pajama shirt and wipped the sweat from my face. I got up slowly allowing myself to catch my breath and quietly walked out of my room, the wooden floor creaking under my bare feet.
I went down the hall to a white door with pink sparkle letters on it that wrote out Gale. I quietly opened the door and peaked in to see a curly blonde mess peaking out from the blankets, I sniffed the air and caught that comforting scent of my daughter. Sighing in relief I closed the door.
It was only a dream.
With my nerves settled that she was safe, I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower to rinse off the sweat from the nightmare. When finished I brushed my straight, black, shoulder length hair out of my face and looked at myself in the mirror. I stood at a confident 5'11 with striking bright blue eyes. I didn't have any facial markings besides a beauty mark under my right eye on the right corner. I also didn't have any facial hair, being an omega, I wasn't able to grow any. What I would do for a beard.
I took off my pajama shirt and tossed it in the hamper before taking out some hair gel and rubbed some in my hair then brushed it back, no matter how much I brushed it though, there was always a few hairs that would refuse to go back, so after much trial and error, my hair won the fight.
After I was happy with what I had. I went to my bedroom and got dressed in some black dress pants, a blue blouse which I buttoned up all the way and made sure the collar was neat. I then put on a black and white stripped tie before adorning it with a silver clasp in the middle to hold everything together. I tucked the blouse into the pants but left it a little loose due to the fact that ever since I birthed Gale, I've had a little pudge that I could not get rid of from the baby belly, I hated the way it looked but what can you do.
I put on some socks, then my black belt with the silver clasp so my pants wouldn't fall down. Since being an omega caused me to have larger hips then most men, I always had to buy the next size up in dress pants or jeans so they would fit comfortable, lastly I grabbed my tux jacket and walked out to the kitchen.
I went through the living room which shared the same room with the kitchen in our small apartment and laid my jacket over the back of the couch, so it wouldn't wrinkle, before I bunched up my sleeves and entered the kitchen side and began to make breakfast in the kitchen. I decided on some eggs and toast as they were easy to make quickly and I knew that Gale would need good food to start off the day because today was her first day of preschool.
