Your feet running as fast as they could. Wishing you could run faster away from them. Heavy breathing coming from deep inside your lungs. Sweat dripping from your forehead, and your hands tight into a fist. Making them white, almost like snow.
Opening your swollen eyes, you saw a blurry wall with some kind of gold. You moved your head slightly and felt something warm surrounding your body. You looked down and saw water with bright red rose petals floating on top of the water. But you were more surrounded by a white and pearl shiny tub, holding the hot water that was giving you strength.
With the blurry vision gone now you could make out the room. A tall bathroom with white crimson walls and gold outlines making the details and designs of the room. You wondered if it looked like that all over the place. You looked around the room and saw a chair in the corner and right next to it was a dresser with the top drawer open a crack. You looked back down to the tub. It was bigger than you, able to hold some so tall. As tall as-
You were cut off by the sound of loud heavy footsteps outside the door. The door opened with a gloved hand pushing it open, a large woman crouching underneath the door. She had a big black hat with a cream dress on. She stood straight up and you were met with her tall height. Her gloved hands rose to her hat fixing it softly to the way she wanted it to sit on her head. She took a couple steps before grabbing the chair and moving it towards the tub. She sat down in the chair, she was shorter, but taller than you no doubt.
The black hat woman brought her gaze down to you, making you feel small and tiny. Like a fragile woman that would break easily.
A slight smile appeared on the side of her lips. "So we finally met."
You did nothing, but just stare. You gave her a small smile as she face went into utter confusion. Every human she's ever met has screamed and rubbed in fear, she would of course have a delicious meal afterwards for dinner, but this time she wouldn't. It was different, but why was it different? Why weren't you running?
"What happened to you, human? You were so nearly close to death when I saw you on my doorstep." You didn't answer you were so busy admiring her features, every inch on her face. You were looking at her with amazement and-
"You know it's quite rude to come into one's home, take a hot warm bath, and not say thank you for their hospitality towards you, human."
"Thank you." You spoke quietly looking at her with a face of sorry.
You felt like a terrible guest. You never said thank for anything. Not even the humble thought. She saved you from the cold and from that man chasing after you. "For saving me."
A slight proud smile appeared on the lady's face. "So...you do speak" she did a slight pause in between her sentence before continuing on, "are you going to tell me what happened, or am I going to have to do something to get that information?"
This woman was about answers, about power. She wanted to know everything, she wanted to know stuff before others, she wanted information. As she holds that information, she also holds power. Not just over others, but also that person. Making her seem powerful.
"I got into an accident. Something was standing in the road, it didn't look human. I woke up someone's house, and I ran in fear."
You lowered your head down ashamed. You were letting fear get the best of you and make you something that you didn't want to be. Scared.
You back towards the woman and noticed her eyes. They were a bright yellow, the yellow of a sunflower getting kissed by the color of the sun. You had one green eye while the other was purple. A light purple, almost like a Mauve color.
"I'm Y/n Y/l/n." You gave a small smile showing your teeth. They were white, and they weren't perfectly straight. They were the teeth that you were born with. "Surely you must tell me your name?"
She huffed softly slightly rolling her eyes. "Lady Alcina Dimitrescu."
"What a beautiful name." She was studying you, your facial expressions, the way you spoke, and your eyes.
"Now if you don't mind, can I clean you now?" She sat up a little from her chair, leaning more towards you.
A simple nod of expression was shown from you again. She helped you sit up from leaning against the tub, sitting up straight. The pain wasn't hurting so bad, but it certainly did. You had faced away from her, not that you didn't want to look at her and admire her, but you were ashamed.
Ashamed of yourself. Your body. The way you looked. You hated the scars on your body, the skin that was attached to you. You hated everything, but at this moment, you hated more than ever.
You felt warm water going down your hair, dripping onto your back. Big hands started going through your hair, massaging your scalp. It felt wonderful. You haven't been treated like this in such a long time.
The feeling of her nails slightly digging into your scalp to get into your hair, the feeling of her large fingers rubbing in the soap. Something you haven't felt in a long time.
You wondered what would happen to you next. Was she going to send you back out there in the cold snow? What does she even have in stock for you?
So many questions circling your mind, making your thoughts go blurry, your vision soon started to go blurry. You felt yourself going in a out of consciousness.

I'm so sorry I haven''t published anything in a super long time, but now that summer is here, I will be having a lot more free time. I do work as well, but I won't be working Thursdays and Fridays, as well as Mondays. I will be having a lot more free time. But the most difficult part is trying to gather my thoughts and write them down and most importantly having the motivation to write. I also write other stories that I create, but like this sorry and ever other one i've had...I get writers block. But I am pushing myself to write for you guys even if I don't have the motivation. I'm also really sorry that I don't post a lot and that my chapters aren't very long.
