Regrets
Matapos ang 8 hours na pag oopera ay na ka labas na din kami ng operating room agad naman kaming domeretso ng wash room para mag re-sterile at mag linis "doc, what's wrong?" tanong ni regina na bumasag sa katahimikan naming dalawa "nothing, I think I'm just tired" sagot ko saka nginitian sya. "doc I know you when you're not okay, we've been best friends for 15 years. come on, tell me." I told her what happened earlier at home, i found my self crying on her sholders "you know what? let's go and grab a drink" agad nyang sabi habang na ka yakap saakin "fine, let's go." I have extra clothes at the car, I grabbed it and went back to my office to get ready.
It's already 2 am when we finished drinking. we finished 3 bottles of tequila and a case of beer, one thing that i'm proud of myself is that i never get drunk tipsy yeah, but drunk no.
Pag ka pasok ko ng bahay ay nag lakad ako papunta sa opisina ng aking asawa, itinulak ko ang lamesa sa loob ng opsina at agad naman bumukas ang lagusan papunta sa underground tech lab ni pheonix his play room where he spends most of his time because he hated the city and hated traveling. I sat down on one of the chairs inside the lab and waited for him to come home.
I decided to turn on my phone and saw 20 missed calls and 100 messages from my husband. i heared the the door opened so i stared at the stairs and waited for him to come down "where the fuck have you been?!" Galit at nag tatagis na bagang na sabi ni pheonix i lifted my head and stare blankly on his face then answered him "i went to the club with yna" i said "what? You know that you can't go back to drinking right? alam mong-" " i know about the divorce papers, i saw it this morning when i took out some packages from the chute" putol ko sa kanyang pag sasalita nakita ko ang gulat at takot sa kanyang mga mata na parang hindi nya alam kung saan mag sisimula sa pag papaliwanag.

"Doc" I was reading some papers in my office when my assistant called me out "yes, what can i help you with?" I replied "your husband called. he's asking if you want to have dinner outside or you want him to cook for you" agad na sabi naman ng aking assistant "tell him i'll cook for him, and sara? wrap up i'm going home early, you should go home too." Sagot ko sa kanya ala sais palamang ng hapon ng maisipan kong umuwi ng maaga para ipag luto ko ang aking asawa.
Malapit lamang ang aming bahay sa hospital ko dito sa new york, kaya naman mabilis akong nakauwi.
"Hey love, I'm home!" Sigaw ko sa aking asawa habang pumapasok sa main door "hey love" my husband said while hugging me from the back "you hungry baby?" He asked "yes, very" i replied.
I prepared 2 dishes for tonight, beef stake and pork sinigang, his favorite. While eating, he asked if i have made my decision about going back home, i stayed silent for awhile then pulled out our tickets from my pocket.
There, i saw his big smile i knew that this one would make him happy so I made this decision with the hope of not regreting it.
