I haven't slept well at all. My mind is doing weird things, and I am starting to wonder if I did get some damage for the hit I took to the head.

For the most part my head has been feeling heavy and dark.

"Who are you?" The voice asks from deep in the shadows of the murky water I am trying to pull from.

"I am Alexandra." It's my voice I hear but it does not come from my mouth.

"And who are you Alexandra?"

"I don't understand." I already answered his question.

"Mortals can't make it to Asgard, how did you do it?" He explains.

"Asgard?"

"I saw you. In the Throne room."

That moment with the scepter, that is what he is talking about.

"Loki?" I can't find him anywhere.

"Yes."

"You are suppose to be dead."

"Dead means many things to us Gods." He answers, stepping out of the shadows. "How would you know that?"

He is taller than I thought he would be, I have to tilt my head up to look up into his green eyes. Is he real? I might be hallucinating, most likely the case. We are not in the cell, we are in this...blank space.

"Who are you?!" He insists on asking.

"I already told you, Alexandra. I am friends with Thor, I am Steve Rogers girlfriend." I explain. "I used the scepter, I tried to will it to... I am not sure, break me out of here? And it transported me to...you."

Loki is silent, gaze trained on me, as if he is trying to make sense of my story.

"The tesseract and the scepter can be used together to move through space. That is how I opened the portal back in New York." He says more to himself than to me.

"Yeah, about that? Dick move." I point an accusatory finger at him. "Totally not okay."

He crock his head.

"I have a question." I say. "The power... what is that? It is something so inexplicable, what gives the scepter its power?"

The God of Mischief weighs in if he should tell me or not. I think he doesn't know what to make out of this bizarre situation.

"There are stories my mother used to tell me. About powerful stones that could control aspects of existence, that could bring balance or destroy our worlds. I am assuming it is one of those powers, just like the tesseract is."

I nod my head, that totally makes sense to him but to me I can't even wrap my head around it.

"What happened to you?" He asks, abruptly changing the subject.

"Long story short, a robot came to life and now I am it's hostage to get to the Avengers, any idea of how to get out of here?"

"The scepter was your best bet." Loki answers.

"I knew it was a good plan." I whisper. "How are you here?"

"Hard to explain, hardly of any importance."

We stare at each other for a minute. I am  still not sure if this is a dream or if I am actually hallucinating, so I say. "I will tell Thor that you visited. Now, go away." I close my eyes. "Ghost can't help the living, even if I am barely hanging in there."

When I open my eyes again, he is no where to be seen.

Soon after the trembling starts. Not earthquake kind of shaking, but explosion kind of shaking. Drilling. Maybe up in the surface it is not noticeable, but I am deep down in the belly of the castle, and the amount of force that is being used causes the stones to shake, echos of the sounds travel through the walls.
