A gust of wind contacted your face once you opened the doors to step outside.

It was strange. Immediately right after you had exited the room, the tightness in your throat loosened up a bit. Granted, there was still a bit of discomfort at this moment, so you decided to head over to the vending machine to get a drink.

You decided on simply getting a milk tea to have and inserted the amount of money needed to purchase. Once you retrieved your drink, you grabbed it and quickly turned around and walked immediately bumping into someone.

"Oh! I am so sorry!" You apologized as you made sure that the other person wasn't hurt. "Wait, Hitoka-chan?"

"I'm okay!" The blonde girl said as she gave a thumbs up. She looked over at you, "But are you okay? You went to the nurse?"

"Ah no. I'm all fine! See?" You grinned and did a little twirl. "You heading to meet with your friends for lunch?"

Hitoka shook her head no and sheepishly looked away, "I was going to find you and ask if you wanted to eat together."

"Awe, you're so cute Hitoka-chan! Sure." You agreed and the two of you sat in a secluded area under a large tree. Hitoka already had her bento with her while you sat drinking your beverage.

"Where's your lunch?" The younger girl asked.

"I ate it earlier because I was hungry." You shrugged. Hitoka nodded and looked at you as if she were going to ask another question but chose not to as she picked up her chopsticks. It didn't go unnoticed by you.

"You alright? You looked like you were going to say something else."

"Uhhh, well. This is kind of weird to ask." Hitoka trailed off.

"It's okay, I probably won't mind."

"Um, well. Okay, i'll just ask it." Hitoka stated as she took a sip of water before asking, "Do you have a crush on someone (Y/N)-nee?"

You stopped breathing for a second. While you weren't really hiding the fact that you had a crush, you were now a bit worried if you were too obvious with said crush at the question. You scratched your neck, "What made you ask that?"

"Oh, just wondering." Hitoka took a piece of meat and chewed it, "You and the guy from earlier would look cute together."

You blushed at the comment, "Oh, um, thank you."

A moment passed and Hitoka said, "So?" when you still had not answer her question.

You leaned back on the trunk of the tree and looked away at the distance before choosing to confide in your pseudo-sister, "It's weird. I've had crushes before just as normal, but this time... I don't know. Every time I see him, every time he smiles and i'm around him, I just get this weird pain in my chest and throat where everything gets so tight that I almost can't breathe. Then I cough."

You remembered that you still had those carnations from earlier in the hallway and decided to keep one in the pocket of your skirt. You pulled out that carnation and looked at it, "And what's strange is that every time I cough these carnations would appear."

Hitoka's eyes widened when she saw you pull out the flower that was the same color and type from earlier. She let out a whisper, "... it's real?"

"Huh? What is?" You heard her despite how quiet she was. Hitoka was still staring at the flower, amazed yet scared at the same time. "What is it Hitoka-chan? Tell me."

Hitoka snapped out of it when you poked her side. She frowned since she was ticklish there. "Anyways. I'm assuming this crush of yours is the Suga guy from earlier?"

You nodded your head and waited for her to say something else. "Do you know his favorite flower?"

"Huh? Why would I know that?" You were visibly confused.

"Well, who knows? Maybe you're some stalker that knows everything about the guy!" Hitoka joked as you hit her shoulder, "Eep! Kidding!"

"Hey, I may like the guy but i'm not weird about it. Not like those fangirls of Oikawa."

"Don't know who that is but anyways," Hitoka paused before looking at you seriously. "I think you're in love."
