At the O'Brien's house. EVENING
In the evening, the O'Briens were sitting in the hall having coffee.
It was then someone rang the doorbell.
"I'll go get it." Said Henzel.
It was a gentleman and a lady outside.
Henzel stared at them confusingly.
"Hi, Isn't Jackson here?", the gentleman asked.
"Yes, come in," Henzel said welcoming them in.
"Thomas! My man", Jackson came and hugged him.
"Hello Oliviya," Jackson greeted the lady with a smile.
It was Thomas Ferreira, and his wife Oliviya Ferreira.
"Didn't see you at the event yesterday. What happened?" Jackson asked.
"I had a business meeting yesterday. And it was too late when it was over." Thomas said.
"What about the newlyweds. Where are they?" Asked Oliviya
"They are in the room. I'll call them." Said Elizabeth, and went upstairs.
After five minutes, Elizabeth, Ruth, and Leandro came down.
"Hi," Oliviya greeted the couple.
"Ruth, Leandro, meet Mr. Thomas Ferreira and his wife Oliviya Ferreira." Elizabeth said.
"Happy married life," Thomas wished the couple.
Ruth and Leandro smiled.
"Jackson, you've never introduced your family to me," Thomas said.
"Oh, yeah. Meet my beloved wife, Elizabeth," Jackson said.
"And this is Lorenzo, my eldest son." Jackson pointed towards Lorenzo. "And Henzel the youngest."
"Hi," Henzel smiled at Thomas and Oliviya. They smiled back.
"The rest, they all are out, just some shopping and all."
"I will get to know them all in detail later. I have to leave right now. There is a business requirement." Thomas said.
And so they left.
Next-Day At Henzel's School
"Okay students, I am going to declare your exam results now." Said the teacher.
The teacher declared everyone's except Henzel's results.
"Ma'am, I didn't get the marks," Henzel informed.
"Oh, Henzel! Please come forward." Said the teacher.
As he came, she continued. "Henzel, how much mark do you think you'll score?"
"I don't know," Henzel replied.
"But, I do. You got 5 out of 50. Big applause for Henzel." The teacher said clapping for Henzel.
"Henzel, I want to see your parents tomorrow itself."
"But ma'am my father is not in town. And my mother is sick and they both cannot make it to the school." Henzel lied.
"It doesn't matter. You are Jackson O'Brien's son, right? I've heard your father is a renowned businessman. But tell him to focus on your studies along with his business.", the teacher told him.
"Okay Ma'am," Henzel went back to his seat.
He was absent-minded, the whole class, thinking of a way to get rid of the parent meeting ceremony tomorrow.
At last, he thought maybe Lorenzo could help him as he is his eldest brother.
