she runs down the hallway to dave
" dad i think you should take me and pretty lady to get ice cream and to the park " she says climbing in his lap

kai walks over to me and crosses her arms
" yes or no dad" she said rolling her eyes LAWD she has her dad's attitude

"hey did Nia leave dave ? " i ask locking the door

10 minutes later...
"ice cream ice cream we all love ice cream" kai sings as we pull up to the park
"alright go play we're right here watching" dave says taking her ice cream

"i'm glad you're fine with it i'm glad you like her and i know she likes you i just want you to be comfortable with all this okay " he said hugging me
