Chapter 1 - A Lie Worth Keeping - Post Trial

"Why!? Why did Ivy have to die! Why did you have to save me." I started yelling at Carlos.

"But wasn't she the one trying to kill you?" Michael questioned me.

"I know that, she even explained to me why. But I wasn't sure if I'd let myself up." I said.

"... It was never my intent to kill her. I guess you could say it wasn't my motive that made me kill her. It was Ivy's. I originally wanted to make her drop her weapons and stuff, but... It's just like that other time. I end up accidentally killing someone." When Carlos had said that, total silence filled the room. "Ivy... The nerve of her! She had the total intent to kill someone. Even before coming into this killing game!" Carlos shouted.

"You what...?" Mary's mouth dropped.

"Ivy told me about her motive, and I guess Carlos overheard us talking while he was in the shed." I said.

"Please allow me to explain!" MonoMew got something from behind his back, it was the motive that Ivy had. I guess he made copies. "'Ivy Clivia. When she was young, she used to experiment with all kinds of plants and toxins that came from them. The first time making a poisonous liquid, she used it on her sibling's beverage. The test resulting in... DEATH.' Ohoho! You hear that! Ivy killed her own sibling!"

"What. The. Fuck." Mary commented.

"How cruel. How could a person be so cruel?!" Screamed Penelope.

"To think she was one of our classmates." Said Jolt. Right. Everyone else was reacting the same way I did when Ivy first told me about herself. They seemed to outright hate her now. I couldn't hate her even now.

"Off the topic of Ivy. You said this was the second time you 'accidentally killed someone'." I had asked Carlos.

"Ohoho! Another motive to reveal! Let's read! 'Carlos Fuego, he was the best at his job and rescuing people. He's saved over 150 people in all of his life. But, one night, when an a apartment was burning down. He tackled a frail child to the ground whilst saving him from falling debris. But the next thing he knew... The child was dead in his arms. Carlos had accidentally killed him.' Monomew said.

"But!... You're action were involuntary. You shouldn't be executed for this!?" I had complained.

"Since he killed someone, Carlos has to face the consequences." said Monomew.

"That means I'm going to get executed. MonoMew. But before that..." Carlos had released his Charizard out of the Pokeball. "Charizard's not getting executed is he?"

"No.... Unless Charizard wants to?" MonoMew said.

"Then... buddy. I'm gonna miss you." Carlos said. "I'm giving you up.... and I'll let Draco take care of you." His Charizard roared one last time before returning into its Pokeball. That sad expression... It's like seeing Ivysaur's face once again.

"Wait! You're seriously giving Charizard to me!? But what about you!?" Draco yelled.

"I'll be fine.. Just take care of Charizard for me." Carlos said.

"W-wait! I can't take him! You can't leave him to me! He's your Pokemon!!" Yelled Draco.

"On the other hand. Thank you... Carlos. I Know you're trading your own life, but thank you... For saving Evangeline. She wouldn't be here of it wasn't for you." Jolt said.

"It's punishment time! Carlos has been found guilty! Commencing!... Ultimate Firefighter. Carlos Fuego's Execution: Executed!" That stupid fucking Mew robot.

"There's no need to thank me Jolt. I was simply doing my job as The Ultimate Firefighter."

(Ultimate Firefighter - Carlos Fuego's Execution - A Savior From Beyond The Flames:
Synopsis - Carlos is placed in a hotel building with over 50 floors, that's engulfed in flames. He manages to rescue all residents in the building, slowly making his way down the floors. When Carlos reaches the ground floor, he saves one last child via throwing him outside the front entrance. At a cost of his own life, sharp wood and debris pierce through his body, leaving Carlos stuck bleeding to death under rubble.)

"*CRASH!*" There, lying there ,pierced by a sharp log of wood, bleeding on the ground was Carlos Fuego, who has been stabbed, and crushed to death.

"Open the door right now!" Draco yelled. Screaming and Crying.

"We need get to him! Please MonoMew!" Penelope yelled.

"Sorry, no can do. He's already dead." MonoMew said. Right in front of our eyes. One of our beloved classmates was brutally executed. Shocked faces, sad faces, faces looking down. That was all I could see out of people and Pokemon "Okay everyone, that's it for today! It's almost nighttime, get your butts out of here!"

"*sob**hic*" Draco was crying. Of course, I tried consoling him.

"MonoMew. Fuck you." I said.

"Is that the best insult you can come up with? I can't help but pity you. Alright listen up! I decided to give you guys TWO DAYS, before I even consider giving out the next motive! Since Evangeline's insult absolutely bored me!" Yelled MonoMew.

 "Come on Draco, let's get you out of here."  I said.

"I think we all need to get out of here." Said Gabriel.

"Agreed." said Constance.

"Puhuhu! Good night everyone! Sleep...tight." That laugh of his, I hate it... "Also, Ivy's body is already cleaned up as well as the rest of the building. It also hasn't been established who takes Ivysaur." said MonoMew.

"I'll take her." I volunteered.

"But weren't you the most affected by this crime?" Laura said.

"I know, I wish I could have helped her in another way. But even so, it's not entirely her fault for trying to kill me. It's also because of MonoMew, and whoever is there watching through the cameras." I said. With that, this night was one that none of us would never forget. Tears on my face wouldn't stop coming out. I don't think I was the same... not after today.
