—A Few Days Later—

Brooklynn held on to what I wrote, that I'll make it up to her and now I invited her to go surfing with me.

Not that I'm complaining much. I get to hang out with her, not to mention that out of everyone; I am the easiest for her to talk to.

I also had an odd dream last night, I try to understand what it meant but I only got an outline of some kind of dino standing in the rain. Once I've woken up, I wrote what I know about it on my journal.

I've been searching for anything that could pass as a surfboard, but of course i've found nothing. Kenji just bragged about something in his pent house, I completely ignored him.

Darius and Maurice on the other hand was at least being helpful and suggested that there must be some in the Main Street, the only problem is those deinonychus and Baryonyxs roaming around there. I don't want to kill anything on a fine day.

Brooklynn, heh, she was brainstorming the whole time, she had remembered that the beach like area in front of the hotels were a thing. The small area is shared with the lagoon but its separated of course.

I can vaguely remember glancing over it and seeing some scrambled surf boards, towels, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and anything we need for the beach while I was hunting down the Indominus.

Brooklynn's thinking that obtaining the beach supplies is a downside to our journey. The good news is that if anything tries to eat us: either we could swim in the water or I could kill then with my barehands.

The fence that's separating the small beach from the lagoon is perfectly intact. I suppose the Mosasaurus could give us a good scare by ramming the monorail's pillars or the fence, but that won't do much.

I remembered the first time I was surfing. I had turned 8 years old, my grandparents celebrated my birthday in Hawaii ,and they book me surfing lessons and I was a professional on the first day. Hawaii is a beautiful place for me, it sorta reminds me of this island now that I'm thinking about it.

I was surfing in Maui and had been caught off guard by a powerful wave, I had gone under and was met with a abundance of beautiful and vibrant sea life. The part where I was sad is when the full grown tiger shark quickly swam away from me, once I got near it.

Predators of the sea, seems to fear me in my younger days and that time I didn't not know why but now I know. I swam around under water diving and observing fish inside their habitat is fun, until a grumpy octopus socked me in the face.

Let's just say he's doing the calamari dance, after he socked me.

That's the day I gave my grandma a sea shell bracelet.
