It was just like any other day for Allie Aurora Deathripper; peacefully soaring through the skies on her Light Fury, Sunchaser, while she watched the oceans surface scrape pass her. She had avoided her father once again this morning, as he had started to worry about the future of their tribe. Allie had showed distaste for surprisingly all of the boys in the Howling village, she had stated that they were too "Viking" and had to be much more than that.

Her father tried to be dismissive of that statement, but before they could argue, Allie had already soared away from the island. Her friends were currently worried about her once again. They were protective, all of them try protecting the other, all of them were...muttonheads.

Allie leaned back on Sunchaser, a hint of frustration in her sigh as she stared at the blue sky above. She started talking to her dragon, "Hey, Sunchaser," approving fury noise, "Were your parents ever like this?"

The male Light Fury didn't quite know how to respond to that, so he had cooed.

"Well, I'm glad you at least listen to me, Sun." Allie sighed and put her arms behind her head, using her hands as a temporary pillow until she would sit back up again.

She has never liked being told orders or expectations, she only wanted to be who she really was. Her best friend, besides Sunchaser, is from the rival village and he has always been looked down upon. She is his only friend, she just wishes he also thought of her as a friend. Her best friend is not a good "people person." He is terrible at socializing, mostly with her as she is the only girl who talks to him. She subconsciously held onto the Skrill tooth around her neck, smoothing her finger down to the edge.

She kept thinking about him, but every time she tries to hold a conversation with him or try to ask him if he'd like to hang out with the Storm-wolves, they would be interrupted and then he'd...disappear.

Allie took a deep breath before she let out a frustrated sigh. "So much going on in my life..."

Just then, a familiar voice echos through her ears. "I don't want to make matters worse, but another thing is being added into that list of everything going on in your life."

Allie sat up straight and turned to her right to see Gruntrage riding on Eyeslasher, his scrunched up face makes his words even more dreadful for Allie.

"My Grandfather said to gather everyone for a meeting, he said it's urgent." Gruntrage said with his timid-like voice.

"Did something bad happen?" Allie immediately asked. She hopes his grandfather didn't break another bone or lose another limb.

"I would say most likely...he seemed angry." Gruntrage flinched as Allie groaned.

"I swear, if basslips got us in trouble again, I will kill him!" Allie proclaimed. Gruntrage cleared his throat and rubbed his shoulder pad. "I don't think Loudmouth did anything this time."

"Whatever...let's head back before he gets mad at us." Allie scoffed before Sunchaser turned around and lead the way back towards Howling Island.

Howling Island is the west side of the two part island. The east side is called Storm Island. The two islands are massive and are connected by a small natural bridge over the ocean. Recently, Storm Island was hit by a nasty, well, storm.

Gruntrage looked over at Allies tired face, she hasn't spoke with the Storm-Wolves for a few days now. "Allie, everyone has been worried about you," Gruntrage suddenly spoke up with concern.

"Huh? W-what do you mean?" Allie has tried avoiding this for awhile, but it seems she is too tired to avoid it now.

"There's a rumor going around that your dad, our Chief, wants you to find a partner soon," Gruntrage was embarrassed to talk about this, "Because pretty much everyone in the group won't be teenagers anymore in four years."
