Allison was getting ready for her first actual day at the BAU, she had obviously some of the team before for her training but she didn't get the chance to actually talk to them a bunch. They both looked like nice people.
"Derek Morgan, Jennifer Jareau, Spencer Reid, Tara Lewis, David Rossi, Penelope Garcia and Emily Prentiss." She kept repeating the names in her head, really not wanting to mess up? She already knew what Agent Prentiss and Agent Morgan looked like from her training. She might've seen Dr. Reid but she's not sure.
"Coffee." She got in her car and drove to her regular coffee place. She ordered her usual and something for Sarah, Trying to give her a goodbye present.
"I'll miss you Al." Allison chuckles, "Is Sarah Hart going soft on me?" Sarah fake-gags, "Ew, never. Now go before you're late." Allison places a quick kiss on her cheek and goes to the elevator, going a couple floors down. In the elevator she tries to straighten her pants and fix her hair one last time.
"I heard she's great, she has a PhD in Science and Psychology. Derek says her field-training was good, she's basically perfect. Perfect people are never nice, God I hope she's nice. What if she's mean and-" Allison walks closer, causing the group to shut up, "I'm doing that thing where I'm talking about someone and they're right behind me, aren't I?" The people laugh but nod, the blonde turns around, "Hi, Penelope Garcia-" "The Technical Analyst, yes." She sees her eye-ing the other blonde, "Jennifer Jareau" She gives out her hand.
They all take turns greeting Allison, she gets to spencer, "I heard you did your paper on atmospheric chemistry and I just wanted to ask you some questions when you have the time?!" She smiles at the enthusiastic man standing Infront of her "Ofcourse! I'd love to discuss it with someone."
"Thompson." She looks up, seeing the brunette standing on the platform, "Welcome to the team." "Thank you, ma'am." She turns around to the group, "Well, I'm really excited to work here, if anyone has any questions, I'd say go ahead, If Ms. Garcia hasn't already informed you." They smile at her comment.
"I don't think we're getting a case today so, Thompson, you can handle your transfer paperwork. The rest of you know your work." Allison rolls her eyes at the team, "Is she always so direct and cold?" They all look at each other, "It's a long story Thompson." Derek chimes in, "One you are not ready for."
"She's different outside of work though," Jennifer walks past and goes to her desk, "Yours is here by the way." She points to the desk next to her, "Cool, cool."

The week goes by pretty slow, Allison gets closer to most of the team, Prentiss is still a bit distant but she's sure the boss will warm up to her. Allison got at the point for calling Jennifer 'JJ'. She bonded a lot with Spencer over all sorts of science stuff, her and Derek just talk about her non-existing love-life and Penelope is basically a ray of sunshine in her eyes.
"It's Friday, anyone want to go out for drinks at O'keefs?" All hands shoot up, "I'll call Will." JJ chimes in and walks away holding her phone. "Newbie? You coming?" She brings her head to the blonde standing at her desk, "I would love to!" She flashes a smile before walking away.
"Question: Is the boss coming?" Derek laughs, "One; Yes I thinks so. Two; don't ever call Emily 'the boss' If you want to keep your job, or your life for that matter." She nods, walking back to her desk and getting her bag ready, "I'll meet you there guys, I'll inform her." She waves towards the office higher up.
She slowly knocks on the door before letting herself in, the brunette looks up from her work, "Hey boss, we're going out for drinks with the team, you coming?" She leans back in her chair, looking at the blonde standing in her doorway, "I'll be done in a minute, I'll join you later." Allison nods, turning around back out the door, "And Thompson," she turns around, "Don't ever call me boss again." She laughs and walks out the door.
